Poolman's Account Talk

Let's see

4Q GDP, 5.7% vs 4.8% expected
3Q GDP, Final 2.2%

The Feds, Why aren't they raising interest rates ?

My Thought

Rally will be sold

I personally think they should raise interest rates. The banks are already howling that if interest raises rise they can't loan out money. Ohhh Plleeeeaaaase. Small businesses are banging down the doors to SBA (lots of paperwork, funding limited) to get loans, so it's already "won't loan out money", which has the same results as "can't".

Good call!:D

3Q GDP was revised down big. 4Q GDP will eventually be revised down. The bond market says the .GOV is lying.

They're not raising rates because there is no real economic recovery.

Poolman are you inclinded to believe the Bull run in over?

JTH,

Honestly, I considered us in a Bull run within a secular Bear market. With that being said I'm am sure we will have some nice pops.

I'm being very cautious not to catch a falling knife. I do think we will test the 1030 s&p before going 10 points higher on any close.

January is ending on a down note.

An Interest rate Hike would put the word out "Things are getting Better" a welcome sign.

Also look at my 2010 guess on the Dow.

It's like those 2 Million jobs that were created (as pointed out again by the Pres in his speech).

Smoke and mirrors. The sheep are getting wise. (except for a few socialists running around here )

We at this time have a market rally going on. I question and would think this is a dead cat bounce from the last two weeks of selling. Also this was an expected Monday bounce. This could be a Bull Trap with dumb money moving in. We will soon find out. If the majority of these gains do not hold up today it will put quite abit of Egg on the Bulls Faces.

Problems did not get resolved over the weekend. I will be watching closely for a sentiment shift.

No change for me today.

100% - G:)

I feel the same way, I'm having a hard time being impressed with today's price action when it's just the same ol song & dance within the decending price channel on this SPX hourly chart.
