Playing the I fund

Took me a bowl of soup, a salad, and a large milk.
To answer the closing paragraph 4 questions; No, No, Yes, & Yes.
Neat take on things. Interesting read... to say the least.

Conspiracy Theories and the Global Stock Market Melt-down
by Gary Dorsch

Do you believe in conspiracy theories? Sometimes they are difficult to refute. Such was the case last week, just after the Euro had soared towards a 12-month high of $1.30, and the British pound, itself ridden with large trade and budget deficits, stood mighty tall at $1.90, with traders setting their sights for $2 for the pound. The US dollar lost 7% in just six weeks against America's main trading partners, and was 28% lower since January 2002, to stand just 1% above its 1995 low.

Brazil was down over 1200 points today. That is more then the DOW has moved in the last 37 months in one direction. Wow.

I'm now in 100%.

This is going to get really interesting.

No. It is not. Thinking like that killed people in 2000. "It is only a lose when I sell" - forced a lot of people to work a lot more years then they had too.

Nikkei down another 1.38% (-218 points) already tonight....

TIMMMMBEEERRRRRR.........

GREAT... I could use some kindling.:p

Could the I fund be up 2.34% today? Sure hope so. Of course I should of stayed 100% in it and not just 50%..............:(

I'm figuring the late day sell-off will bleed over to foriegn markets tommorrow. Japan is already really oversold so maybe it will turn us around but I wouldn't bet on it. It should be a tough call tommorrow.

Poop, hope that was an FV adjustment and they give us some more tomorrow. Wheels?

It was my plan to lay low for a while but since "he" has been suspended for a couple of days I guess it's safe to answer your question. As of yesterday the I fund was priced pretty close to where it was suppose to be. If anything the I fund is still overpriced by a few cents and might have to be shaved off of your gains for the day. Furthermore, the dollar rallied at the end of the day, combined with the U.S. markets tanking at the close, would cause any FV's to go against you. Sorry. Don't shoot the messenger.

The chasm between the I-Fund and the other funds will continue to widen on rises and declines. Black box driven volitility will make trading between these funds obsolete. Choose your poison, tie a knot, and hang on. To do otherwise could get you cut...coming and going.
