I really don't want to rain on your parade with the I fund, its beeen a great ride for you who are in it........but its due too, its so far out it has to correct (who wants to buy high like it is now)........if things must happen to cool an overheated economy (?? is, is it worldwide????) ....what will it do to the I fund...???

I think a clear head will be necessary in the near future, the I fund is clearly vulnerable....... so don't let your guard down......

Since I deployed I have been 100% F. I wouldnt be caught dead in stocks, Iran is here. You can bet against time, but if youre in when it kicks off, expect to lose 5-10% in one day, before you can even SAY IFT never mind make one.

Soldat, whatever the case may be, keep your head down and be careful. Your efforts and sacrifice are appreciated.

You know, that's what I thought about the Iraq thing. 2003 I sat in money market while everybody else was riding the tide back up.

The foreign markets have plenty of room before they hit resistance. The dollar weakening only makes it that much sweeter! I think we still have at east two to three days of solid gains left before they start to get toppy. If the dollar doesn't find support, the I ride may last through next week. I doubt I will hang in that long, as I will be looking to switch my momentum over to the S if the opportunity presents itself.

I bet this one has already been covered but still gotta ask, how come there is such a big difference between the quote info on Yahoo for EFA

Basically, EFA is an ETF that attempts to mimic the EAFE index. It isn't exact and add to that that it trades in the US market and people will try to anticipate what will happen tommorrow after the foriegn markets close. The anticipators are not always right.

The MSCI site shows the value of the actual index. There is much more if you scan through this thread.

Looks like a lower opening for the EFA, with the USD up a bit and Europe down about .3% The Hong Kong index is up 158% but is only a percent or two of the EAFE .
