I'll be puckering tomorrow, and I decided to play chicken and stay in for Friday.

I'm with ya! I watched it dive for three hours yesterday with a G-Fund IFT already registered. At 10 til noon I finally accepted that I was going to lose one way or the other - pulled the trigger and cancelled my transfer in hopes for a rebound.

I plan to stay in at least until COB Monday, heck might stay for most of week with the latest Sentiment Survey showing a fair signal. We'll see!

70% "C", 20% "S", 10% "I" COB Friday. Well I'm in for Monday! It should drop like a rock if my luck holds true? I keep making the same mistakes over and over, batting about 50% wrong which is the same as:

Nnuut,

Having a broker account can be pretty good. i.e., Last Friday the DOW went up, when it got to 13266 + 30 I bought some [IVV]. At days end it closed at 13424. It cost $7.00. Had it gone below 13300 I would have sold.
It's a lot more fun being able to do instant trades than having to wait for a day and hoping to heck that you guessed right!

As you can see by looking at my avatar, I've been beaten down to a nub, a shadow of my former self. IFTed to 100% "G" Fund COB today. Tomorrow is loaded with economic news, the charts remind me of the charts on March 1st. Backing off, when I do this the markets usually rally so if your in for tomorrow, Congrats!!
