nnuut's Account Talk

Me too but I'm thinking we get a recovery tomorrow followed by a bigger drop Friday for a week ending loss.

Ya never know with politics guiding the market. All I know is that if I go in do the opposite and versa visa. :D

Historically that has worked out well reversing my trades as well. :( That's why I publish this system, Cactus' Reverse And Profit (CRAP), over in the Short Term Strategies thread. It's in there with DOOM (Do Opposite Of Minnow).

Sounds like a plan to me!!

Hmm, I always wondered what those systems were all about. Thanks for clarifying... Sure hope you are right about a big loss on Friday as the time is growing near to get back in the game...

Well, it looks like I'm wrong already about this mornings dead cat bounce so there's no telling what Friday will bring. :embarrest:

So, is today the day we get back in...or wait one more day? LOL
Well the C Fund bounced off the 50 SMA. As for the S Fund, it's well below the 50 SMA and has a way to go before the 200 SMA. I'm not going in today. Let's see if I'm wrong again.

Well if it is of any consequence, it is barely one hour past the closing bell and the S&P futures are already down more than 1.5%. Not that it will remain that way into tomorrows open, but at this point it appears there is more downside to come. Yep I'm feeling a buying opportunity.:1244:

Yeah, the only question is how soon. You don't want to catch the falling knife when it drops like this but I think it will rocket back quickly when it stops.

That's why investing reminds me of the game of Roulette. Do I put my money on red or black or sit in safety for a few more spins???
