New member here. I've been investing in TSP for the past 5 years and just made my first IFT this week. Needless to say I've had quite a large chunk taken out of my account in the past year, but now I'm here to learn and get it back plus some. I have a lot to learn, but from the looks of things I've found the right place to start.

These guys are a welath of knowledge and I have just been reading for a month or so and have learned alot. I am in the same boat as you with the losses. Wish I would have fount this site a year ago.

Great thread. As mentioned in the thread, I only wish I had that info at my disposal 5 years ago.

I became a member in 2007. I had 17 years already invested in the
Government and did fairly well on my own concerning the TSP. But I
could have done better as I ended up saying the same exact thing.
We all wish we found this puppy sooner. I still do !
