There is a lot of great information for all of us to use to try and make money in this crazy market, but I really think most of it depends on luck. I will admit that I have had my share of good and bad luck this year.

Currently I am #227 on the tracker at 4.88% (10/19). I have been as high as 57 at 11.27% (4/23) and as low as 321 at -9.76% (7/6). My lowest tracker position was 342. The currently the positive line starts at 369, so there is hope for all.

We've seen this bought up in the afternoon for the past couple of weeks. Tough call. Head fake is always a possibility.

A bit surprised with the I fund. Major Asian markets closed a solid green and early this morning Europe was looking strong. With a half hour left in the European markets they are looking weak so it may be a tough close for the I fund. The C&S funds trying to climb out of the opening hole they started in. Going to be a long day.

Again yesterday just proves how fickle and unpredictible this market is.

Not looking to jinx anything. Just making an observatioin. The market seems to be recovering nicely from yesterdays drop. If the market closed now I will have recovered just over 80% of yesterdays losses. Fingers crossed. Good luck everyone.

It was a nice end to trading yesterday finishing on positive ground and if today holds on to the current trend we should make up for Tuesday's losses.
The $64,000.00 question is when will the market relax and take a breather? I guess it depends on who you listen to. But the key factor in all of this appears to be election day. Will the correction start just before Tuesday, November 2nd or wait a day or two to see who is going to be the majority? Bottom line is that the market is going to have to make a correction, just how deep it will go?

Sure would be nice. Might still get a bounce today in the last two hours of trading. Watched it happen before. :suspicious:

Would settle for a flat day today.:notrust: I have a queasy feeling in my gut that next week will be ugly! 5% or more drop? No real logic behind the timing but a market based on printing money (QE2) always has the potential to deflate quickly.

Birtch, Not sure why you are trashing the S fund. It has handily bashed the C and I funds YTD. The only fund close to the S is the F fund.

Well Monday will be interesting. The G20 is meeting this weekend and have decided not to devalue their currency. Now the US has to follow suit and prop up the dollar. I think which ever way the market reacts it is going to be big. Hope everyone has a good pair of sticky pants because I think we are in for a real wild ride.

Listening to some of the videos that have been posted it appears that people are a bit surprised how the market continues to rise. A whole lot of guessing why. But there seems to be an undercurrent of concern about when the next fall will happen. Not just when but how big. Good luck everyone.

After yesterdays positive finish I have recovered from last Tuesdays losses. But it looks like it may be another terrible Tuesday the way the stars are lining up. The way that the roller coaster ride has been going let's hope it is a short hill.

Asia closed down, Europe currently not looking good. So what will happen here? Last day of the month, a Friday and elections are next Tuesday. So what will happen today? Buckle up nice and tight and grab those sticky pants. Good luck.

So did everyone survive "trick or treat"? We only had about 20 kids all night. The wife and I did enjoy the firepit however.

Well last week was up and down but ended on a positive note. I finished the month at 4.83% in my real account. YTD is at 11.61% but I still need about 2% to get back to my high point from April. I should be able to accomplish that in Novemeber (fingers crossed). The good news is that I added 19.10% to my account since my July low point. Good luck everybody.
