Yesterday pretty much erased the couple of good days we had around Thanksgiving. But there is still a chance to end the month positive. I'll keep my fingers crossed but won't hold my breath. :nuts:

I know most everyone is aware that Mauna Loa volcano in Hawaii has erupted for the first time since 1984. But this report is great because the video is Australian, and I like listening to them.

I don’t think it’s THE pivot either, but the market will likely see it as such. For how long? That is the question.

Wow! Two months in a row that I finished on the positive side of zero. I've actually finished positive five times this year (.03, .09, 10.32, 8.59 and 3.59). Of course, the six negative months still have me 21.09% in the hole. Let's hope we have a nice Santa rally for December.

It wasn't much but the "S" fund ended the week on the positive side. Sure not going to guess how December will go but at least the first two days for the "S" fund were positive.

Something I missed tonight. Not only is it cloudy but it's pretty foggy also. You get to a nice dark area and the night sky is amazing. Sue and I saw some really neat stuff when we were in Australia.

I sure hope we get sumthin around the DC area. I put new paddles and walk scraper on my MTD 2 years ago, and it's only been out once in all that time. We didn't get nuthin last year.
This is a great little workhorse that can handle up to 2 feet of snow. It's all I need, but I hate seeing it just sit in the basement.

This is very similar to the one I bought 3 years ago. It's a beast. I use my gas leaf blower if the snow is light and under a 1/2".
