A good day again. Does the other shoe drop tomorrow, can we finish out the week and the month on the positive side of the ledger? My crazy eight ball ain't talking.
 
As we go into the weekend and the end of July just reminding anyone that wants to see the numbers for August it is post #4855. Have a safe and fun weekend.
 
Even after today I am just under a minus 20%. :banana:

Still have to ride this market out and see if at least I can get into a minus single digits by years end. I don't want to get too greedy and hope for a positive finish. :nuts:
 
We haven't taken a fall like this since June 16th when the "S" fund fell 4.89%.
Unless we get a little relief, the month won't end on a positive note. :censored:
 
I don’t think we’ve seen a washout yet. It happened to an extent in Early June. But I’m thinking more along the lines of what happened during the Covid crash in march 2020. That was a capitulation drop. I don’t think we’ve seen that yet.

What a turn around two weeks makes. On Tuesday 8/16 the "S" fund had a high of +7.26% by the close of business yesterday the "S" fund was a -2.08%.
 
Woo! Hoo! Can we make it two days in a row????
Considering the "S" fund lost 8.69% over the last 7 trading days todays 2.31% was nice.
Not going to hold my breath, however.
Sticky pants still deployed and the depends have been sinched up a little tighter. :banana:
 
Well we made it two in a row.
We haven't had 2 nice days in a row since the market put together 3 days back on August 23rd, 24th & 25th.
My Magic 8 Ball stopped working this afternoon so I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed that the market will be nice.
 
Well September started out poorly, but the week ended nicely. Still, we have 3 more weeks of trading. Sure wish my Magic 8 Ball wasn't broken. Sticky pants and depends still on and a barf bag off to the side just in case. Have a great weekend everyone.
 
WOW!! Really quiet today. Everyone must be watching college football. Or enjoying the last few nice weekends. :D
