Yesterday sure did shake things up in the AutoTracker. After Thursday and yesterday I will have to change into a new pair of sticky pants for Monday.:Flush:

Just put on your Duluth Trading Co. Free Range boxers on and get comfortable. Could be an interesting week!

Re: some random thoughts

Talk about a turn of events. We get a good job market report and stocks tank on Friday.

Asia and Europe not looking good today with US futures looking bad.

US futures extend losses on the back of global selloff
US futures extend losses on the back of global selloff

"U.S. stock index futures posted sharp declines ahead of Monday's open, extending losses from the previous session on Wall Street."

Re: some random thoughts

On the bright side, those futures look like just normal sell off days and not triple panic like we had friday. The only two things weighing the market are the interest rates going up because of the bright business future on the way and the sad fact that we have been due for a correction for a long time. So bottom line is there's really nothing crazy that is driving this decline except fear it seems to me. coolhand says the dumb money says sell, the smart money says "who knows" (neutral). I think we drop another couple days then rocket back up to recover about half of fridays losses and then back to bull. So, that's why I'm probably going to sit out after today and preserve whats left of my christmas money. I'm retired and about half invested and a little risk averse.

Congratulations to the "G" funders for getting to the top of the AutoTracker. No really I mean it. Great opportunity to stay at the top.

I haven't had a two day loss like this since June 24th and 27th 2016. That was a Friday and Monday also.

Things did turn around and I finished July with a 5.40% from a -5.55% on 6/27/16.

So maybe there is hope in the near future.

Since January 26th I have gone from a 5.34% to a -2.22%. Sounds like I will go lower today. Let's hope we can recover in a couple of months and not take a whole year.

Elon Musk has way too much money.

"One day before SpaceX's new Falcon Heavy rocket is slated to blast off on its maiden voyage with a Tesla Roadster on board, Elon Musk has revealed that the electric sports car may have a passenger.
In a series of Instagram photos captioned "Starman in a Red Roadster," Musk debuted a dummy wearing an official SpaceX spacesuit, buckled up and apparently ready to blast off on a mission to Mars."

Let's hope for some more buying to get us out of the negative territory right now. Can't get to excited about the "I" fund. Will have to see what kind of correction is made after the NYSE closes. Everything overseas was negative.
