How did you do that?
Not sure how you are getting the links, but I suspect it is coming across as:
/story_page.cfm?articleid=49251&oref=todaysnews
Vice:

So, the TSPTalk website is putting in it's own URL...

I just reply-quote'd your entry, copied it into notepad, did a replace of tsptalk.com with govexec.com, and them pasted it back into the reply (without the quote tags). I did have to mess with the logo, so I went back to your post and got the attachment url and just linked it (as I didn't add the picture).
With this attachment link:
You can use the same logo without uploading it each time (and using more storage space on the server).

Clear as mud?

Not quite. But I will mull it over a bit. Then it might make more sense.

What I do is a copy/paste of the articles, but it looks like it has recently taken on a tsptalk extension. Maybe what I will try is copy to word and then copy/paste it into my Thread. The logo I copied into my picture folder and just pull it up from there then add the link below it.

It seems to only be happening with govexec.com links. I tried it on another forum and the same thing happened.

Thanks Tom. Strange that it happens with the govexec site.
The post below worked. I copied the articles to Word and then copied/paste to a new post and it kept the govexec link. So I guess all new govexec reference posts will have an extra step or two.
