The fear on the street now becomes missing the train as it leaves the station - once the Dow goes +300 the scramble will be full speed - get me in at any price.

Less than 50 posts to reach 4,000. Should be there early next week. :D

If the VIX keeps falling this is going to be a real crazy ride. Tighten the safety belt and make sure the shoulder harness is locked in.

You ought to pull a FAB. Try to be the last reply to every post. Fabism, the act of posting just to post to get to a major post level. You can also use the one line approach. Hi whats up? So, what do you think?:D

When I post I try to have something to say that is relevant, but I'm not always successful. As I was closing in on 3,000 posts Tom asked me to be a moderator. I wonder what might happen now that I am closing in on 4,000? :D Sitting back and enjoying the ride. WOW! I fund over 5% right now. Hope everyone is strapped in . Good Luck.

Unfortunately, as a mod your posts count will go up and down as we occasionally clean out the moderator discussion theads. Ask nnuut. I think he hit 10,000 posts 5 times. :D OK, it's not that bad.

Well yesterday was a bit disappointing. I guess not unexpected but disappointing none the less. Today may be one of those days where we should grab on to anything stable and hang on for dear life. Most of the European markets were down around 3% this morning. So things aren't looking good. Kind of setting up like the end of September beginning of October. Over that 2 day period the C fund lost $0.77, the S fund lost $1.40 and the I fund lost $1.07. Even with yesterdays losses the funds all finished in positive territory; C- $1.52, S - $2.55 and I - $1.60.

Good luck everyone. I think we are going to need it.

Here are the FRTIB meeting minutes from their September meeting. Enjoy!!

I be pushing for you buddy. Want this to turn and make you 7 to 10%. Tried to wake Birch and get him to make me jump. If todays move goes high base to next resistance I may jump. Missed the loss (Spidey) and hope I can learn how to make good gains.

Thanks Bquat. November has started out just like October. So let's hope it is as profitable as October. I made 14% in October.

Thanks for posting Nasa. Maybe we should organize an "OccupyTSP" to get an additional IFT or two per month! Geesh, 2 IFTs is pretty damned ridiculous! I thought this system (TSP) was for us!?

Hehe, with the # of people in negative territory on the autotracker, I'm not so sure allowing them 3 or 4 Ift's per month would be very wise. I think there would have to be some kind of stipulations to recieving a 3 rd IFT, like you have to be in a positive position or could not be below a certain negative mark otherwise some people would just IFT their way into a financial black hole. (Then would probably blame those who allowed them the extra IFT's and demand a bailout or reimbursement..I'M SERIOUS!!!!!)

An extra IFT would let them get out knowing they can be in again if the market bounces. Some stay in too long waiting for the dip or correction to end. Then it's too late and you have to Birch it and not lock your loss in and wait for the market ro recover again like it always does eventually.
