MrJohnRoss' Account Talk

This should not come as a surprise to those that aren't ignorant. I got myself a wideband RF meter a while back and rectified the electro pollution throughout our home...

Would you care to elaborate on the wideband RF meter and how you rectified the electro pollution throughout your home?

Are the two related in any way? Other than of course measuring the RF field strength.

Thanks for calling me ignorant.

I'm in the camp of "I doubt it's good for you" but much of the research into these matters are in their infancy. In an ideal world where money was no object, I'd sleep in a faraday cage submerged in a sensory deprivation tank, ground myself daily and poop in accordance with the earth's magnetic field.

Dogs defecate in accordance with earth's magnetic field

Well, I must admit that I do like my bed aligned with the headboard pointing North. It just feels right.

That's actually a good question.

You guz are killing my OCD tonight, just knowing my bed cannot be aligned with the poles, is going to wreck my sleep, at least I still have the toilet...

Which way do you stir your coffee? Counter-clockwise? I do. But sometimes I wonder if I'd stir it the other way if I was south of the equator.

I use a blender, coffee, whipping cream & coconut oil, I'll ask the blender tomorrow morning :)

You forgot to mention: invest according to the phase of the moon. I'm sure TSPIntel can help you with that one. :D

Hopefully you didn't really take offense to my comment. It just amazes me how much of a reactive society we are, always waiting for something bad to happen or a problem to get so out of control that it is beyond remediation before attempting to fix it. I tend to be a contrarian in life as I do in trading. I'm not going to get on an extended rant about cell phone radiation. To put it in a nutshell, it is non-ionizing, meaning it doesn't strip the electrons off your cells like conventional (x-ray) radiation does. Therefore, chances are it's not going to give you cancer. It does, however, interfere with your neurological functions and body's ability to repair itself. People that are constantly on their phone are much more irritable, tired, and emotionally imbalanced. It's just one more way our immune systems are depressed, which over time opens you up to a variety of chronic illnesses. You don't have to go crazy in counteracting these effects. I got a Cornet ED85EXS wideband RF meter and a Trifield 100XE. You need the Cornet for measuring hi frequency RF (like cell phones/towers, wifi, bluetooth) and the Trifield for measuring low frequency electric/magnetic waves (power lines, car batteries). Then you simply turn it on and walk around your house to take readings. I didn't have to do anything special to "remediate" my home except get rid of the wi-fi and be cognizant as to where we keep our phones and other electronic devices at night. The nice thing about the RF waves is their intensity is diminished significantly with distance. So, unless you live less than a block away from a giant cell tower, the background readings in your home should be well below the cautionary levels. Now if you live in a high rise condo or even town home, forget it because now you are being bombarded with all your neighbors' RF, which you can't do anything about. The one real culprit these days are those "smart" utility meters, which shoot out very powerful bursts of RF to the receiving towers every 2 minutes. I had to fab up a shield to block the waves from entering our home. An inexpensive way to do this is out of mylar emergency blankets, i think it cost me less than $5 and about 20 mins of my time.

There's a decent sized "EMF" business out there, and most people probably don't need all the products that are available for sale. If you buy the meters and take the readings, you will identify any apparent issues. That was my thought process anyway. The $300 spent on the meters is worth the avoidance of a learning or developmental disability for my children and a good night's rest for me and the wife. Have you ever went to bed with the TV or radio on, only to wake up with a headache and feeling like garbage. That's EMF at work. Don't need Verizon or ATT paying their lobbyists to tell me otherwise.

Most recently, I have used the meters when looking for a new home. Seeing as how avoidance of any potential problems is generally the most cost effective solution, we were able to find the perfect home in an area not bombarded with EMF.

If you care to see the proximity of cell towers near you, check out this website. You will be amazed by how many there are, especially if you live downtown:

AntennaSearch - Search for Cell Towers, Cell Reception, Hidden Antennas and more.

Environmental Working Group - is a good one for other health concerns, such as water quality.

Big move in the markets this morning caused a system switch.

System sells TZA @ 16.35. That closes the position with a +9.4% gain.

System buys TNA @ 74.93.

Good luck!

Good input, Oleg, thanks for the info.

That's what SHE said...

BTW, interesting concoction, Jason.

My diet consist of high fat, medium protein and low carbs. This concoction is my breakfast and half my lunch, it provides plenty of low-octane energy without the crashes you get with carbs. I had a 4 mile run this morning, on days like these I add 4 raw eggs, yummy yummy in my tummy!

4 raw eggs in your coffee? Weirdo. Hahaha!

I checked out the site today at lunch. That is allowed at lunch but logging in is NOT ALLOWED. So I couldn't reply then. I read your reply oleg, your original post, my reply and started laughing. Stay with me here this is sorta long. JohnRoss please excuse the hijack.

I replied to your original

First I should have included a smiley of some kind after the last line. That is just my sense of humor. No offense taken. What made me start laughing is I realized you meant rectify: to correct or improve (something that is wrong). I thought you meant rectify: to make (an alternating current) unidirectional. I am thinking, "wow, this dude has found a way to turn all the RF energy in his home to a DC voltage, I wonder what he is going to do with it?". While possible, I would think the voltage would be quite low with a very small current. It also would not decrease the RF field strength significantly.

So I am reading that with your new RF meter you are turning all the RF energy in your home to a DC voltage, thus rendering it completely safe. Your reply, which I am not going to quote here, set me straight. Lot's of stuff to think about there. I have worked around and on RF equipment my whole life and now spend hours per day on a wireless phone. Plus now I have all the fiber optic stuff to worry about. Like you said, you don't have to go crazy just be aware and maybe try some things.

Gotta make lunch for work tomorrow and get to bed. Projects are making 50 hour weeks not enough. Poor me. At least I do get OT.
That way I can be a wealthier drooling vegetable when I retire in 2017.

Peace, PO

The rally in the markets started on Friday, but due to IFT limitations, today is my first chance to get back in. 100% S Fund as of C.O.B. today.

Without a doubt, 1884 on the S&P will have to be broken in a convincing manner in order for this market to charge higher. Notice I said "in a convincing manner". There's always a risk, but long term momentum still looks good. I think we just needed a pause, or consolidation, to rest the bull legs. Now that it's done, it's time to charge higher, IMHO. Snort.

In all honesty, I haven't read anything about a triple top from others. I've had very little time to visit this board. Besides, I like to form my own opinions before I read what other people think. That way I'm not swayed by other people's views. It's more fun and interesting to me to post my viewpoints, and then go back and read what other people see. There are some pretty sharp folks on this board, and we can all learn from one another.
