MrJohnRoss' Account Talk

Yup, my system is giving a Sell/Cash signal as of COB today. I'm going to stay in until tomorrow, but unless we bounce, going to have to cut some losses..

The problem is, pretty much all last year, this was the usual recipe for a nice set up. The markets would go down under the 50 day, and then BOOM, right back up. The only question is, is "this time it's different"?

Fed's still pumpin' cash in. It's not different 'till it is.

Yessir, they sure are. And we know better than to fight the Fed, right? That's why it's not an easy decision to get out at this point.

1843 does look like resistance at this point, but I can't count how many ceilings we've busted through over the last few years.

Finally able to post a chart of GDXJ, up 5.5% today. Broke through that 50 day like a hot knife through butter. And look at that volume.

Looks like a nice rebound for the markets today. C Fund still has a slight negative bias, S and I Funds still have a slight positive bias. Staying long and strong.

This feels like we are still moving sideways but with ever increasing amplitudes on every revolution. That spring has got to break on one of these swings and I don't like the sound of that. :notrust:

System results:

NUGT a hold. Down -7.04%. Wouldn't be surprised to see it fall further before turning back up. GLD, SLV, and miners all trending higher though, so I think the next wave up could be a strong one.

SRTY switches back to URTY. SRTY down -3.61%. This is a choppy market, and there's no clear strong direction right now. Would advise staying clear of these 3X trades until we get a clearer picture of where the market wants to go.

Another good day for stocks. Looks like the market is starting to make a strong move to the upside after meandering for a week.

NUGT remains a hold, up +3.87% today after being down this morning.

URTY remains a hold, up +2.57% today.

Don't fight the Fed. The pump is still on.

Today's system results:

NUGT remains a hold, up +2.92% today.

URTY also remains a hold, up +0.38%.

S Fund eeked out a small gain too. :)

wish you can give a signal to sell or hold those NUGT before closing time.

Yeah, the last couple of days at work have been extremely busy. The only time I've had to post is in the evenings.

I don't work today, but have several appointments, so I'll post when I can.

Right now, everything is looking good for NUGT, so the system is staying long.
