I've been feeling like that since the 'hindenburg omen' thing... being spooked is no good for investing, have been sitting on the sidelines during some of the best runs expecting a pullback. :suspicious: So.... I've gone with the 50% position In and making gaines, can add more 'when' the sale prices show up.

DJIA point and figure chart: Bullish catapult breakout on Nov 13. Price objective: 16,200, which is only 1% higher.

NUGT/DUST will continue to hold NUGT, but it was a rough day, down 4.8%, and the charts produced a bearish engulfing candle pattern. This could go either way next week.

URTY/SRTY will continue to hold URTY, up 1.1% today.

With PM's continuing to go lower, the NUGT/DUST system generated a switch. Normally would wait until end of day, but momentum is too high already. Sold NUGT @ $40.43 for a loss of -7.8%. Bought DUST @ $34.73.

You seeing much upward potential with DUST? Just crossed the 50 and headed for the 200 MA which also is near the upper BB, and with all the upcoming fed crap who knows what will happen. Unless they say they want to taper, then DUST should be sitting pretty...

It's a crapshoot. DUST has the momentum, but the PM's look they may try to hold onto a double bottom area, so that may provide a ceiling for DUST. We could just bounce around here for a while, which could chew these trades up. Use caution.

VXX may be on the upswing. Keep your eye on Mr. VIX.

This market is looking toppy. Of course, I've been saying that for several weeks now...

Both DUST and CNIT are currently up over 6% ea, which is helping my portfolio have a banner day. Haven't seen a 220 basis point lift in a long time.

NUGT forming a hammer possibly today at the bottom BB. I sold 50% of DUST yesterday, and thinking about selling the other 50% today in anticipation of a NUGT pop. Thoughts?

True, but that's a longer-term outlook (weeks to months). It's down over $100 in just a few weeks so we'll see some short-term relief rallies here and there, but the chart says, sell the rallies.

$1265 - $1325 is possible on a rebound, but the trend is still down.

I think that could turn out to be a very good move on your part, IMHO.

I sold the other 50%, but didn't buy NUGT. There's a lot of upward potential for NUGT here, but that happens a lot on the chart. Also NUGT sits at the short term (3-4 month or so) bottom trend line in addition to the bottom BB. Even popping back to the middle BB is about 30% from here. DUST could still make a try at taking out the previous high before falling, so I'll wait and see if the trend flips. Always nice to lock in some gains with these as they burn me quite a bit!

Sold my position of DUST this morning at $39.01, even though my system has not generated a switch. I'll happily pocket my four day 12.3% gain, just in case we get a down draft, so I won't lose too much of my profit. jb0441, you did good.
