When this happened back in the early '90's the Portland OREGONIAN newspaper published a picture of the moon hanging over Mt Hood. It was the most awesome thing - and that was just seeing the picture. It looked like it had to be the sun - thanx for the event reminder ... it is already on us !

no way, there's not really things called sit bones are there? and just how do you go about measuring them? unreal.

Could not see the Moon, cloudy here and I would have liked to seen the Supermoon...Did it really appear much bigger to the eye?

Just a wee bit bigger and clearer..but had not the news hyped it..I wouldn't have noticed the difference..

Was really big and bright here in the country! Seemed mostly due to clear night sky and lack of clouds.

no way, there's not really things called sit bones are there? and just how do you go about measuring them? unreal.

Not that it has anything to do with the moon, which just looked normal sized here, but I learned where sit bones were in my yoga class.
