Well, I made the move to I fund this morning. Nothing ventured nothing gained right?

The TSP.gov website sure is fast today!!! Go figure......................o

Well, looks like bond yields are up slightly and the dollar is down this morning. Foreign markets are mixed so we'll see what happens. Now I have to decide rather to go back to S or stay I......................I'll decide in 4 hours.

That damn TSP office still irks me but can't cry over spilled milk.................

I hope I'm wrong, but I have this bad feeling that since TSP put so much in the I fund last night, that they might just call it even tonight. Even though the EAFE seems to be doing well today.:X

You may be right, but it is still lagging behind the others so I have hope.

I'm still going to 100% S this morning though. SHe just won't die!!!!!!!!!!

Going to 100% G this morning to get the penny. I'd say about 80% chance it pays tomorrow. We may see the S be up one day and down the next as the bulls and bears fight it out in the short term. Long term, I would just sit in the S fund and wait. This is what I'm doing in my IRA's, allthough the time to get out may be near..........

Hmmmm, Greenspan speaks tonight along with bank people from Japan and China. I wonder if this will be good or bad for our markets? If he says anything about stopping rate increases, probably good.

I'll make a final decision about moving toG fund later this morning.

Going to 100% G today to lock in some gains. $14.8 is major resistance point in the S fund this year. If we can break out past that, then I'll jump back in. Otherwise I'll wait for a pullback in the F fund. Just remember, the F doesn't always go up when then stock funds drop.

I see everyone is jumping back into stocks. Perfect! I ain't buyin' it...............:^

PPI comes out Tuesday, be careful. Hopefully there's not an early sell off for you all.

Actually I'm expecting the PPI and CPI to show marginal improvement from the previous month - all figures will decrease. I believe the price of gasoline was reduced during the survey time period, so probably will show some degree of reduction in the aggregate. Staying 100 % C all the way.

Here's in interesting chart that not a lot people look at. It's the US Air Freight Index and represents the shipment of goods in the US. If shipments are decreasing, then consumers are buying less, and Air Freight companies are making less money.

BTW, I've noticed in the chart I just posted that it seems to be running roughly3-4 weeksahead of the market. For example, it started dropping last Dec. and the market dropped in Jan. It started going up in Jan., the market went up in Feb. It dropped in Mar., market dropped in April. It went up in April, market went up in May.

That brings us to now. The air frieght index dropped last month. Does this mean the market will drop in June? Certainly something to be aware of when you make your decisions.

Looks like oil took the steam outta the market today. Hope it doesn't last. Perhaps the I fund will bail me out today. It owes me!!!!!!!!!!!
