Great, gonna miss a nice day in the S fund by going to the I fund again. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy.............

I'll be moving to 100% I this morning from my current 50F, 50I.

No sell signal on stocks yet.

No more comment on yesterday but I hope you all stayed in the S fund....

Europe is up so I hope it translates into some gains for the I fund today. The S fund is at resistance so keep an eye out for any weakness. If bonds stay down today, I may jump into the F fund until Friday and then go back into the S fund. We'll see how it plays out. I may consider the C fund since it is currently lagging.

Good luck,

M_M

Hey look, I actually made money in the I fund yesterday! WOnders never cease.

You see them futures this morning..........sure didn't see that one coming! If it holds, small caps should break through resistance and we can continue the rally.

I'll most likely hang in the F fund for another day and buy back the S fund tomorrow.

Good luck all,

M_M

Going to bolt over to 100% S this morning. Futures are pulling back a bit, so I'm still hoping to get a penny or two back from the F fund.

I think we could see 1290 on the S&P before we get another pull back. With such a large divergence between large and small caps this year, it's hard to know which one to follow as far as resistance levels. Small caps are at an all new high but large caps are lagging.

I'll be looking to get back out probably on the 2nd.

Good luck all,

M_M

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a sell off at the end of the day...............

Me either.

Milk_man - You got cohonnes going into S-fund on up Friday. I thought that was against your system? Mondays have a down bias. Got to admit the narrowing trading range has me getting defensive.

We just broke on through to the other side! People are dancing in the streets. Don't you see them.......

Monday will be a good day, unless of course something happens this weekend. I think it's time we got back to that 11000 mark in the Dow.

JMHO of course........:D

Good luck,

M_M

My fear is that we'll see the inverse....short covering kicks in and the dow closes up 250 points............without us, of course.

I developed a long term strategy this weekend for my friends who can only move their 401k's once a month. I'll be starting an account called "M_M's long term allocations" beginning today.

Good luck,

You say this is for your friends, so you will not be it; thus moving freely as you have done in the past?

Yes, I'll being more frequently in my regular account. Or untill TSP puts an end to it........

I was moving this one girl's 401K like I was moving my TSP buy she's had a transfer pending for over two weeks now. Guess they decided she was moving too much. Still haven't received anything in writing though.

I'm a little shocked that the S fund is leading the C fund today...... I thought they both would probably drop before the Fed meeting, but figured the S fund to drop lower...........

I'll stay in the S until at least tomorrow. Then we can figure out where we are in the scheme of things.

I hear that they're not going to raise rates today.......just kidding. :p

Good luck,

M_M

Prediction time..........

I believe that tomorrow we may see the S&P hit 1290 and the Dow hit 11000 again but then I expect another pullback. More than likely I'll be jumping out of stocks tomorrow and into either the G or the F. Probably the G.

Of course I have to wait and see what the numbers tell me tonight.

Good luck,

Cognac, it's not just for breakfast anymore...........

Hmmmm, well I could be wrong ya know............:p

Looking over my data, if I had been tracking large caps I would of sold yesterday. Since I'm currently tracking mid-caps, which I consider the S fund, it didn't give a sell signal. I'm still gonna hold it till tomorrow and hope for a bounce.

I'm now going to track small, mid, and large caps to try to correct this problem. I'll buy or sell when I get a signal on two out of the three. This hasn't been a problem in the past because they have tended to follow each other. We've had a bit of a divergence so far this year though.

Still striving for perfection.............:D

SInce I missed a move earlier this week, I'm going to ride out the storm. We are right at another support level also.

Have a good weekend!
