silver lining

Look at this way, at least you can choose to change your tire Any Time today, whereas with our tsp you better change before the clock chimes 12 est! Hope you had decent weather to deal with the tire MM.

Technicals still point to waiting, but agree with Tom that any consolidation/correction probably will not be as severe as "some" suggest.

Thanks Gritz, wasn't too bad, just a little foggy.

Well I got a sell signal on the S fund and I've been thinking long and hard about going into either the G or the I. I've decided to be brave because I'm not real concerned about making a penny with the G so I'm going 100% I fund this morning. I'm very concerned about having to sit in internationals for 2 days, but hey, I'll just drink heavily..................:p

Good luck,

M_M

The I does seem to be calling just seems like it needs a rest too; that said, any historical data on what the I does following a US holiday?

I don't have any data but I seem to recall someone saying that it was usually up. Not sure though. Plus, since international markets are open Monday, I think last time they were up Monday then drifted back a little on Tues.

yep, that's what I recalled as well; for now I'll invest vicariously through you and chalk it up as a learning experience.....signed grasshoper

The (I) is usually up when US markets are closed. What did the Nikkei do on Monday??? I was too busy to catch it. If it did well, it may offset some of today's losses.

God Bless:)

The MSCI EAFE was up about .015%. I don't think that'll help today. :(

Knew I should of just went to the G fund. Oh well, it's a long year............

Just love that I fund.

Looks like I'm gonna need that drink today...............

I'm now considering jumping back into the S fund today. This isn't a system induced signal, just hoping for a good core CPI report tomorrow. I have some money to make up so I might get a little aggressive here the last couple weeks of Jan. and jump in and out.

As nnuut would say, HMMMMMMMM

Well that I fund transfer worked out well. Didn't I tell someone to shoot me next time I played it? Right back to where it was on the first of the year. Great........Oh well, I like a challenge remember.......

Anybody got any Tylenol.............

Tylenol? I believe something stronger is in order! Back to late Dec. totals. Why I didn't get out after first week of gains I'll never know.....greedy I guess.Too much loss to get out now. Holding 25I 75 C. (You know better than the I fund MM).

I'm still 80 (G) 20 (I). So, I guess I'll just have 1 drink.

I'm sorry for you folks who were in deeper... I truly am.:(

But I guess if it's down again on the 18th, which at this point it is looking to be... maybe it would be a good time to buy-in???

God Bless:)

With under 4 hours to go, the Nikkei is down another 2.75%.

What do you guys think??? Jump in some???
