Going back to 100% S effective COB on Thursday, sorry I didn't post my last transaction here, repetition seems such a waste of time.........it was posted in my account. Do I need to post my moves in each forum? Is my spreadsheet hard to understand for anyone?

Mike,

I think you post your moves under the "account" heading, and if people want to ask you questions or you want to say something in addition, then post it in the "account talk". I agree, you need to save yourself a little headache. I have learned to look at the "account" section for moves first, then switch over to "account talk" for the scivvy on the move. For instance, I would not be discussing this under you "account" heading, only under the"account talk". I've learned (andI havemy balloon as a constant reminder) Just my thoughts. Obviously, you're the head cheese, since it is your account, and you can make the decision.

Just to be clear, I haven't accused you of overstating returns. I've actually verified. I did give Tom a spreadsheet which had your moves since October as posted in your account tranactions thread. If I missed a trade and you had posted the move in the wrong place, let me know and I'll correct the spreadsheet.

Oops, I think I know what you were talking about now Tom. On the spreadsheet I downloaded from your homepage, I was putting down the fund prices everyday, I should only put down days that I buy into out of funds correct?

Darn Texan in me......................Slow as moses, but get there eventually.....just like Sam Houston...................

That's right.

Sorry it is so confusing. I really need to write up some instructions for that monster or go to an easier spreadsheet. I may give Fundsurfer's a shot.

Mlkman,

I see you are going to G efective Monday AM. One day in the S-Fund...Friday only. I'm trying to follow you as much as I can, but, I'm curious about these "day-trader" moves. Are they dictated by your system alone,or are you using anything else besides the system to make you move as you have lately? Not judging the moves at all, just wondering if there are system "signals" that often right now, or if you're using any other reasoning to help you decide?

Thanks for your help,

Lobo :)

Just my system. As I said in "mlk_man's account" I"m going to cancel my move to G. Didn't have my system with me last night and tried to predict it. Messed up.........Sorry if I confused anyone. 100% S today and staying with it. Right now anyway..................

Good Luck,

Mike,

It's not about me giving up on anyone, dude. I'm watching what you are doing each day as far as buying/selling etc. and just sitting on the sidelines for a while watching the returns of the new system. But since it is between Oct 1st and Dec 31st, the sidelines to me right now is full equity positions. Like I told you before, I got burned out on trying to find the perfect "system" and so I did nothing for about 3 weeks and sat in the G while the market went up,up,up. SometimesI get so much info on things we get "paralysis by analysis" and we do nothing. I did not want that to happen especially at the end of the year.

That being said, I'm watching the trades that you are doing, not questioning anything, just watching, looking at the returns and seeing how it is going for you. Many of us are probably doing that right now. Your doing a great job, and we appreciate it. Thank you.

Joel

P.S- Rod, sorry, I know this is the wrong thread, I needed to respond.

No problem Joel, I understand the un-certainty. Keep watching, it gets better.......Good Luck,

Please keep in mind how that particular message started out:

"MM and I are working on a new "system" using the 5 day average as well as some other indicators."

Therefore, it's not as if I was responding to a question that did not involve your account.

God Bless:^

Tough break for you being100%S today.

What do you plan on doing? Riding it out next week in hopes of gaining it back?

That's what I'm thinking about doing.

Man, that would've been a great move for today!

Hey guys. You don't have to quote the entire conversation when you reply to someone.:x If you hit quote, you can remove some of the fluff you aren't responding to when you reply. Some of these posts get so large it's tough to read.

Thanks. Now go to your room! :P
