Market Talk

Well I jumped out of the market 100% yesterday.:oo See what it does. I just want the fall so I can take the ride up. I know this is going to be a big year. My luck I will watch it all the way up. Ohh well. Could be a lot worse.

No NAFTA was not bad enough. We still had some jobs left in the U.S. Of course they will leave us some jobs. Schools will teach key skills. I heard they will start with, "Do you want fries with that?"

Politicians....

Teknobucks,

Trust me - you don't want no azz kickin - just completed my round trip and am now up on the game again. The pounding was painful - now if you enjoy a little pain then I would recommend heading straight to the G fund - because in another 500 points on the Dow they will be crying - why me, why me, I didn't do nothing except sit in the shelter and ignore the storm outside. At least no body gives up any money - and we all know how sweet the copper can be, right? Give them a break - they're on break until December.

Well for us retiring conservative bulls..........Enjoy your rocket ride>> Flash! Wish you the best! Yep! sitting in the hanger, (excuse me gotta to get some more suds),,,,,,Ok I'm back

TSP wise, my goals have been met for July 2006! So I ain't taking no chances with profit taking, or playing russian roulette with the price of oil.

Trying to figure out now, what boat to buy, to chase them fish.

BTW have members checked out www.capitalone.com/savings Something to think about!!! Or at least take a look-see.

Rgds, and be careful! :) Spaf

Spaf,

You know it is just a matter of a short time from now when the March highs will be surpased and the bullish primary trend would be reconfirmed. The last buy signal was on 3/4/05 right before the 900 point correction started. Just because you are getting ready to retire doesn't mean you still can't fly tree level at night. You can buy a larger boat in a few months when this bull provides its patient rewards - I think some bigger momentum moves are on the way - especially once the herd truly has arrived. Some one said a lot of hedgefunds are taking a beating because they've been in short positions - young and foolish bunch - but they will cointinue to draw in money and when they move to go long - here comes Dow 11,723 for another new all-time high. You certainly don't want to miss that fun. Take care.

off debka...

Armed police are surrounding a flat in W. London’s Notting Hill shouting to inmates to remove clothes and come out. Police have donned gas masks and shields.

July 29, 2005, 3:02 PM (GMT+02:00)

At least one loud explosion heard earlier at scene. The armed police operation in progress Friday, July 29, is connected with the July 21 blasts and may have pinned down one or more July 21 bombers still at large. Area of Notting Hill cordoned off

Hi, I finally worked out the glitches and can post. I have only been watching and reading comments on this site for a few months. I really obtain a lot if insight into the market that I never was able to figure out.

That being said, I am with I think Teckno (forgive me if I didn't get that right), no need to run to the barn and bury yourself in the G.

I have only moved once to the G this year and it was a mistake. So, I went back to my method (no science, just gut instinct) and I have been rewarded with not a great return but more than if I was sitting in G fundt. I guess what I want to know, is why are people so negative on the market?

Just someone new to the board. Everyone have a great weekend.

Rondalw,

To answer your question without the risk of irritating other participants: I'd have to say it's basically the fear of fate.

Birch, I do not mean to offend anyone. I just was curious.

Rondalw,

I wasn't concerned about you offending anyone - my concern was that my answer might not be dignified enough to suit everyone - I've been relegated to the corner several times. The best time to buy is when there is overwhelming fear - afraid the market will go down, afraid the market will go up, some people will never ever get out of the G fund no matter what the circumstance. That's what makes a market. It is actually easier to buy when you have a profit locked in behind you - then it starts to become fun. This is a serious business - but you have to have some fun also, you'll pick that up when the banter increases when the bears come out of their caves. They can be a delight because theycomeupwith thoughts that only a bear would think of - good to listen - but not react.

Birch, please call me Ron.

So, like over the last quarter I have made a profit of a little onder 20k, I should take that and set it in G Fund?

Or, should I let it continue to work?

Thanks Birch, you are a breath of fresh air, I thought I was going crazy.

Ron
