I'm afraid that the current economy fizzed out......commodities are just skyhigh....its a wonder we lasted this long.....;)

Looking forward to the slide just so we can go ahead and get it over......figured we would be below 1000 on S&P by Feb 2006.....could be below 900 if some certain goods pricing hogsdon't see it is prudent to lower profits....

The more profits for companies means.....they are asking too much especially in a low wage environment......:D

I know personally that my wage increasesfor the last several years never reached my pocket.....the insurance industry took it all....convienient to useemployees raisesas an income/profit base.....so what do I do??? Spend less......

Our politicians really need to look at all the excess spending (profits for the contractors)...of course you're trying watch the hen house with wolves.....bad combo...I guess its going to take us all going broke and then maybe just maybe we might invent a check and balance system for protecting the average citizen...I suggest a set tax percentage of the taxpayer and the govt can operate from there.....with certain percentages of the revenue allocated to certain operations of the govt......that should take care of alot of CRA@!@#$ coming out of Congress...:^

Until we demand the politicians to answer to us then we're going to pay for it.....and there are alot of restrictions we should be putting on politicians for that matter....like no pensions, few years of service....average pay of the taxpayer....and so forth....we could actually build a govt that works...!!!:^

Crude going down now is not a good thing at this point of the economic cycle.

It means economic slowday. A tad early for a true recovery.

Recession here we come.

Just look at the 10 year yield.:shock:

Teknobucks,

The Technician and I were formally introduced this AM. And by all means were are still friends. I can now reassure everyone that he is not Chicken Little. Has anyone been hit on the head from a piece of falling sky yet.

I haven't seen the new Darth Vader movie yet so I will gratiously reserve comment.

I like that graph-why are you publishing it? No one cares to be reminded of what might be on the way, I don't mean sp500 of 1000, but rather sp500 of 1600.

Honestly, he does a good job. We need both sides of the debate-that is what makes a market. Let your money do the talking-make it or break it-or just simply sit on it. No harm is done.

The contract changes tomorrow to the July contract.

Happens each options expiration.

Watch what crude does on Monday?

Oh we don't know why crude is up 2% today. Caught the market by surprise.

I am going to tone it down and play nice.

WW has a lot of spunk. I like that. And great graphics.

Different opionions. Just be careful of the permabulls.

Stop and think the DOW is at1999 levels.

The NASDAQ is still down 71%

Do not get excited and rush into stocks.

You will get burned again and again and the permabull will be the one carrying you into the fire with their horns.

12 of the last 17 options expiration in May have been down. I just play the averages. 71% down . Do not like those odds.

Thanks againTech. Glad you are off the drunk thing.
