Very productive...why even bother....

If you were so knowledgable and such a techy with inside information you would of been a fool not to short CSCO...look at the chart...you could of shorted it at a 1000s different entry points and made money the last year.

I am tired of you...I respond to you and then you get six people think I am talking to them...

You do not add anything to this board.

haha, You typed that the same time I was answering your PM:

Dude...you are taking all of this way to personally and seriously. Have some fun and if you are right, you will have hella bragging rites.

I have listened to what you have to say and if I challenge you, it is to get more information, or it is something I do not fully understand and need clarification. Also, you do sound like Chicken Little. (And Chicken Little may be right, but only time will tell.)

Unfortunately, you haven't been saying much about the market, only a whole lot of projecting. You say things that you know will get criticism, bash the people who pick apart what you say, then accuse others of bashing. Stop. You are only self-sabotaging.

Besides, I don't bash. I mock, ridicule, and otherwise poke fun, but I do not bash. It sounds far too serious for me to enjoy.

Do not even bother your bashing posts...just stay long.

The bottom line you say your are a tech guy...look at the chart...you could not figure out by talking to others in your day to day work that CSCO was having problems...look a the chart...you could of shorted that pig 1000 ways to Tuesday for over a yearyet you say you are smart enough not to short or go long...Huh????? Look at the chart, you work in the business, you have no investment credibility to me and should not be able to manager your own social security account...because 30 years from now I do not want to have to fund your lively hood because you put as much time in your investments as you did at your job...you work in the business if you could not figure out that CSCO was a short I want you to have your hands off your social security account...

And yes I take this seriously...the ability of these people to do well in their TSP is the ability to have them to have a good retirement life....YES I TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY...I want everyone to do well that wants to learn and try to benefit themselves....to be able too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when their own ability to be able to retire depends on their ability to invest then we will see how long like people like you last here...this is serious stuff....do you want to have to work 10 years longer because of people like Rolo...yes his one liner bashing posts are funny but you got to stop and ask yourself, is MT trying to help me or hurt me...is he telling things from a viewpoint I am not hearing anywhere else.

I am big picture...I keep coming back here because I realize how important it is for the folks who want to learn....

Until Tom kicks me off I will continue to try to help on this board...

I made more money--with less risk--going long on WBSN, a product that I resell and have mentioned here a year ago:

Where were you then, MT? When I invited others to talk about their holdings, were you screaming "Short CSCO" then? No, I only see you doing it after-the-fact. Well, gee, guy, anyone can do that. Now prepare for the Strap-On!

You never stop.

I was told not to talk about anything other then TSP funds because everything else was not important to the board.

Most people on this board does not know what a short is and I really do not want to confuse them because they do not have that option.

You are not helping this board.

You are hurting this board.

There retirement is serious and not a joke.

I still can not believe you work in the business and you saw CSCO as a neutral holding...God help you because I do not want to be funding your retirement through my tax dollars because of your investment choices.

I am tired of you...and I would hope others will not waste their time with you anymore. They need to buckle down and get serious...their ability to retired depends on their TSP accounts...social security will be in TSP accounts...so they will have all their eggs in five accounts....that is not wise so they will really have to learn or they will be eating cat food at age 70 and will not be able to help their children through college...YES THIS IS SERIOUS...knock off the crap. I see the big picture and I hope they do also.

hahahaha...whoa! Look at YOU tapdancing!

Most people do, however, understand noun/verb agreement, so give TSPtalk members some credit by not trying to be our daddy. If one does not know what shorting a stock means, he has many options: ask (this is a board after all), or Gooooooogle.

I've been light on my market commentary lately, but I sure have been slathering on the levity! eh? ehhhh!? Hey, Ima tryin' to be like the Motley Fool and startin' with the irreverence! heh? heeeehh?

MarketTimer wrote:

Everything is a joke...if...you....just.....LIGHTEN UP!

Trust me...if you do not lighten up...you may very well break down.

MarketTimer wrote:

I didn't see it as 'neutral'; I saw it as "not a playa", inconsequentialsince there were far better tech investment opportunities. I also sold all of my mutual funds that had those tech bellwethers...right before they turned down, down, down.

Oh, and..umm....MY CHOICE MADE MORE MONEY THAN YOUR CHOICE SO NYAH :PNEENER-NEENER!

MarketTimer wrote:

Good. Until then, I only consider it a TAX and do not even count it in my retirement planning.

MarketTimer wrote:

Well, that could be good...since they won't have any teeth anyway...ehehehehehe.

Good grief, is everything an impending crisis to you?

Wonder who said this?

Yet the Silicon Valley giant faces the ongoing problem of trying to generate sales growth in the face of a maturing corporate market that contributes well over half its sales.

Everything is great!

I am tired of you Rolo and hope others trying to learn are also.

I never said that. Just stop talking about yourself and you'll be fine. Bet ya can't do that for a day. ;) How about an hour? Whats amazing to me is that even after explaining to you on the board and in PM'syou seriously still don't get it. It's sad really. Freud wrote an essay on narcissism. I think he could add a new chapter after reading your posts.

Good luck.

Yer right, Tom. Reasoning didn't work so Ima try to exacerbate it to a head (and shoulders, heh) and then see if the light comes on.

I wonder if he can stop saying Rolo for a day? Aww...that would mean I'd have to go back to unpacking these boxes. :(

My thoughts on Cisco: they are no longer a small-cap and they do not lead the industry that they created. They have much competition now. They are overpriced. They bought Linksys, which makes nothing but junk. They also decided to not play in the VoIP arena fully and VoIP will be big.

Netgear (NTGR) and Network Appliance (NTAP)are ones to havein lieu ofCSCO.

The after market sentiment on Cisco's report had some good and bad issues. Kind of left me with mixed feelings. And, a question on how this will affect the market tomorrow??

......................................................................................................................................

Reviewing the S&P at Stockcharts, the moving average is still below pricing. The CMF money flow is still positive but slightly decreasing. However, one of my trigger eventshas occurred: namely three sideway days in a row.

Will set up a transfer for 50G,50F for tomorrow. If the AM opening looks good, I'll cancel, otherwise I'll play annuder day.

Rgds, have fun, and be careful! :) Spaf

Well back to the tsp funds...I don't have the time to read all of off topic posts...

The dollar is raging right now so it will cancel any gains from the I fund... As it did today....

C and S funds are in a sideways motion..."made a little $$$$ today"WHY ?

If you look at a list of stocks you will find alot oversold and overbought..

Not to many in between...so we got that drift.... We held onto the 1% gain friday is the good news . There is alot of money on the sidelines waiting to get in as the volume has been some what low....
The dow has been trading at the upper range highs so we will see strengh to the upside most likely....

Caution: days of sideways action like this often precede a big move one way or the other.

Still waiting to see which way this market wants to go...

Some of the analysist say the market is firming to go up. Yet we have the advice to sell on weakness; buy on strength. Several days of sideways does not seem to be strength. Could have egg on my face, but I'll go to the hanger if the AM market goes lower. Am with you....Wait and see!

Would like to see the bull market resume, but Feburary is not the greatest month, so I'm opting for the sidelines unless weather improves!

I love this market! :D Spaf
