The 4.8% GDP number is a preliminary look subject to revision. Probably up would be my take. Business spending rose at a 14.3 percent annual rate, that was three times the 4.5 percent fourth-quarter increase and the largest in six years. Exports were up 12% - that will back up into the C fund earnings - we don't care about the weak dollar. Microsoft is hindering the Dow today, otherwise the broad market is healthy for gains. Even oil is back up a little along with metals - makes`me feel better.

If we hold the day there will be another new all-time high on the NYSE composite and the NYAD line is probably also at new highs. I'm trying not to get too excited - until the last 30 minutes of trading.

Interesting trading pattern for the last couple of hours....things are either stuck or they are preparing for that downer......I've seen this happen before both ways.....

Past historical shows that the I fund dropped in 2000-2003 timeperiod with the C and S....guess the overseas markets will drop with the domestic markets this time as well (but the I may stay up some with the loss of dollar value).....currently it seems the dollar value is ready to drop more of its current value........if that happens, then consumer buying power will drop up to the % of the dollar value drop and then inflation will jump based on that alone.....that means interest rates will continue up....:worried:

I'm not expecting the dollar to lose alot myself, but it could drop enough to extend inflationary numbers and thus it will make the Feds raise interest rates a bit longer, therefore the F fund will wallow again......it could be one more drop.....then the F fund should return 10-11% a year for one to two years......

I won't consider the F fund until we get 2 higher closes above the 20 day ema on AGG..tho we may get the first one today

Lets see, sanctions against Iran, price of oil jumps....economy stops.....stocks.......oh well, its wait and see.....

So far the S fund has been down five days in a row. If by chance it closes today making it six, that doesn't happen very often in an uptrending market. Investing is all about risk vs reward. So what are the odds or risk the S fund will be up tomorrow?
