You ain't tellin' me nothin' I don't already know.

My first eligibility for retirement is Aug 4, 2015...56 w/30 years. Aug 25, 2017 is my wife's first eligibility. I keep tellin' her "I'm not leaving here with out you, baby" trying to act all chivalrous. Just give me 7 and a half more years...
 
My step-son went by to pick up his cap and gown and he noticed that his name (and others) were highlighted in yellow. He told us he was like... "Ummm...whats that for?" concerned that there might be a problem.

The person told him that those are the students that are graduating with honours. :D

Both my daughter's graduated high school with honors. Both where very proud. Give your step-son a pat on the back for us. Congratulations.
 
He spent the first 2 semesters at Georgia Perimeter College and the second 2 at Georgia State. He's getting a degree in journalism (I don't have a clue what he's going to do with that in this economy) and a minor in photography (not real sure what he can do with that either).

One things for sure...I'm proud!

Sorry if this ain't the place for this but I have a prediction. A prophecy if you will.

I predict that the liberals and progressives will discontinue using their lib/prog titles and actually use the word socialism. They will say things like "I know it's against everything you have been taught." (They will actually use the word brainwashed.) They will say that they believe that our society and our government should move toward socialism...that it's the only thing that will save the country. I also predict that the majority will believe them and embrace the notion. You will hear the word socialism portraied in a positive way as the answer. I believe that the momentum is in their favor.

I'm not taking sides. I hope to be a neutral observer. I'm just along for the ride...

Looks like you're all the way IN and I'm 90% IN.


Most of the ones above us ~ in our section ~ are in G ;)


We should wave -- and say hi to everyone as we're moving up :D

Yeah, but that's what I love about this place.

You can let random thoughts drift out -- especially things you hadn't thought about in ages.


Birch's comment about 'Only the Shaddow knows' goes back even further than what I just said. :p:)

Anyway - figured since I'm next to you again ~~ it's time to stir up some old memories :D
