kave,
i received the vape station and it is incredible. i have no complaints. very well crafted, like a piece of furniture. i'm totally satisfied with the purchase, the price, the execution of the idea, and especially the shipping and service. i would have no qualms recommending your work to anyone, even my mother, and she's dead and don't even vape.
the salvaged tobacco barn wood is a hand's down winner, and particularly fitting for this type of piece. if you don't have a pile of it in your backyard already, get one. when i get 100k working capital i am going to quit my safe fed job pre-retirement eligible and open a full service vape shop in the bakken. the potential markup and demand here would make your head spin. there is literally so much money flying out folks' asses here they don't know what to do with it. i plan to help them with that problem via a little retail vice therapy.
i have a degree in design and planning, and have sat through many a brutal design critique of my dreams. i have a lot of thoughts that could help refine the form and function of your product. but folks unfamiliar with that kind of brainstorming often take it way too personal and negatively when it is really just a way to polish the proposal into an ideal solution.
i would be more than happy to offer feedback. and i want several of those on the counter working in my future shop. i could sell the hell out of them, no joke.
i will provide full review and suggestions in the e-cig thread if you are interested. scheduling and workload make that impractical at the moment but i will make the time soon if you want.
bottom line, if anybody who vapes and wants a storage solution or work surface is thinking about this, contact kave and just buy it. you will not be disappointed. hand's down a winner. full endorsement. i'm glad i got the first one-off. no bullshit.
