Kave's Account Talk

After a hard pull back in the market through the first few weeksof October, the market's recent gains have been very respectable and profitable for me. With the markets at a high threshold, I will take some profits and sit on the sidelines for awhile. IFT executed and effective at COB today, G Fund 75% & F Fund 25%.

Last Christmas my DW asked me to build a stable replica for her Nativity figurines. I built it out of some barn wood I reclaimed. We finally got it setup. Here's a cell phone pic.IMG_1442.jpg

My TSP allocation is currently at 60% F & 40% G Funds. Currently, the Dow, S&P and NASDAQ down ~1+/- % and the 12:00 cutoff looming, I think I'll stay at my current allocation.

I'm your quintessential market dip buyer. And I anticipated a pull back of some degree pre-Santa. But there appears to be a little more pull back coming.

I've got 1 IFT for 2014 I can execute other than a G fund increase. So I'm gonna wait another day.

No move for me today. Staying at F-60% & G-40%. I will look for re-entry at SPX ~2000 and W4500 ~1000. My decision is based on information provided in JTH Account Talk. Thank you Jason!!!

Not me. I'm looking for confirmation of a bottom. I have caught the falling knife too many time only to commit hara-kiri with it. :(

Not me, calling a bottom or top is a losing proposition waiting for it to turn around. It usually jumps up big time and I will probably miss that gain but one day isn't a turnaround.

Wanting to jump in but the water still looks too cold!

I stayed in the lounge chair myself. Didn't want to lose my speedo:embarrest:!!! I still believe we'll see a Santa rally to some degree. It may take crude bottoming out before we see recovery!

Interesting time. If it comes the Santa Rally won't come till the 26th but the FED could cause a good news rally this week! Of course there might be major tax related selling next so I am just hanging around the pool ready to jump in at the right time. Nice to have a swim up bar :-)

I waited and then finally too the plunge into the pool. G - 50% C - 25% and S 25%. Good luck with the bold 50 / 50 move.

Waded in waist deep into the pool, testing the water before diving in head first..................45% F, 25% C, 25% S, and left the 5% in I
