I would at least like to get a 6 or 7% return on average, but would love to get more. I got about 10% the last 12 months on my own, being very conservative on making interfund transfers.

6-7% is nice, you have to expose your "seed corn" to make it grow..... S Fund was like 56% last 12 months so hopefully you had some in there. It will be interesting once this vaccine gets 100% distributed how the economy will react. I'm thinking now that certain sectors have shown they don't need office space for a percentage of their people, it may hit the Commercial real estate pretty hard. But I hear a lot of people are keeping their jobs, but moving to cheaper places to live, so moving companies and real estate should be lucrative. I think oil may be topsy turvy until this all shakes out. Since some people are not driving to work, gas may spike for a while. But delivery companies are the new thing so there's a chance to make money.

Welcome aboard. As a few have said this is a great place to learn. I see you mentioned that you would like to see a 6-7% annual growth being retired (congratulations). I would look into the L funds as being a possible place to land your TSP and not worry. If you are willing to take a chance on double digit growth then do what you are doing now. Good luck.
