JTH's Account Talk

I understand and see breakouts, thanks for the great charts.
But it is only 1040am, should we not wait to see what the rest of the trading day brings ??
It's been so volatile lately ..

Yep, your right Dutchy, things could change. However, give this a thought, QE is what led to this bull run, QE is starting up in Europe now, and in this low interest rate environment we are in, where do you put your money? Equities. Persistence...don't fight the FED and give in to the force. Oops...that was a Star Wars jesture. Sorry about that.

Nothing wrong with waiting an extra day, just depends on the scale of time you prefer. I try not to make recommendations for others, I can only present the data and let the user decide if it meets their expectations based on the timeframes and price range they choose for themselves. I'm already in, I chose to wait out the pullback because I didn't want to use my IFTs too early and be left on the sidelines for the remainder of the month. I will say this, when prices get compressed, the longer the duration of compression, the more valid the breakout/down. While we do have a great deal of volatility, most of it was confined within a set range.

I see the C/S funds popping but not the I, is this because of currency or was the previous push in the I fund was factored in already before the ECB comments

Sorry friend, I don't do analysis on the I-Fund, it's a time-management thing, there are too many variables, so I focus on doing less but doing it better.

Thanks and I understand! I've always wondered how to accurately time the I fund. I usually stay away from it but rolled the dice yesterday at 50% going there. I'll probably play it till Mondays IFT and see how it plays and exit if I make a little ca$h. Just hoping not to lose out by only having 25% each in the C/S. I really appreciate your analysis of the market and charts and follow you quite often...

JTH,
Deffinately helps my early year flub but if it don't hold or break out it means nothing, blind squirrels and all. Speaking of me of course. ;)
