JTH's Account Talk

Lol everybody's got a joke. No friends I won't be offering a premium service anytime soon. It is a tremendous responsibility to manage someone else's financial future. I am in the process of consolidating several systems into one, but it's a painstakingly tedious task. Assembling the result is difficult enough, but given the unique criteria I'm using, computerized backtesting it is even more complex, perhaps too complex for me to implement. It may take more than a year to put this all together.

In the meantime, I'll just sit back, relax, and throw out a chart or two. :)

Housing prices flattened in Dec.
Look around.... it's gonna pop.
Keep in mind it has been the 3rd wettest April on record in this area.

Well crws:

I read all of that and none of it has to do with home starts or median prices going anywhere north. Prices of homes are comin down. Have a double dip of chocolate.

If you don't believe winter data (and many don't); May-June sales and prices will gong loud enough for everyone to hear the music.

No prisoners this summer. Great time to be renting.

Well I definitely appreciate and enjoy your posts. :)

It was an outstandingly bullish day across the indexes. Had you caught the 5 May bottom like I did, but instead stayed in, you'd be up over 2.65% MTD. Whatever you're goals are, just be aware of who your are and what your prepared to lose. If we get another strong up day, I'd consider an exit, because for myself, it's the little battles that win the war...

For the S&P 500, median price for this month is 1360, our current level. The middle EOM trendline and the yellow 128-day Linear bars confirm this as a middle-of-the-road price. I use this terminology so that you don't get too elated, I consider this fair value.

Not starts per se, it's about the permits issued for construction, both in the private and commercial sector.

It's the leading edge, my friend. ;)

I made mine at 0.97, and 1.33, and 1.68

I am looking for an out at 2.50; you?

"Rising stops"?

I may just sell, this sucker is way overbought and due for a correction back to the rising channels. I mostly just scalp in & out of this stock, I'm a suscriber too.

The current stop is at 2.12, as long as price keeps rising I'll normally raise the stop each week till the stop eventually gets hit.

Remember now that every time you trade the IRS is getting a 1099 - good luck with your schedule D. Every time you make a buy the IRS will get a 1099 - so they know both sides of the trade. Myself, I worry about these peter heads sticking their nose in my business.

Nope, if 2.12 gets hit from above, the sell order (stop) gets executed.

Ah, gotcha. Thanks... I am thinking about pulling the trigger and move on; I just don't have a good feeling about whether SIRI will continue to go up or this is just trading euphoria (or shorts covering their shorts) :worried:
