Ending last week, the MARCON signal remains unchanged. The C-Fund remains stable, the S-Fund enters overbought conditions, the I fund slips, and the F-Fund gains a little traction off the bottom.

Statistically speaking an entry at this level (for me) is not worth the risk. However, I may use my last IFT this week, so I can enter March fully invested.

Transportation average showing a violation of the 6-month trend. What do I think? I think I'll stay out of the way.

Interesting! DJtransports show a 50-day ema at 5094.93, (closed at 5093.23 yesterday) - a bit under the lower 6-month trendline. I know it is risky for those invested in stocks, but the 50-day ema, is a traditionally strong bouncing area. Futures are very strong this morning. Perhaps we can get a short-term bounce either today or tomorrow. My speculation.

Interesting! DJtransports show a 50-day ema at 5094.93, (closed at 5093.23 yesterday) - a bit under the lower 6-month trendline. I know it is risky for those invested in stocks, but the 50-day ema, is a traditionally strong bouncing area. Futures are very strong this morning. Perhaps we can get a short-term bounce either today or tomorrow. My speculation.

Sort of expecting a deeper cut on the transports due to the rise in transportation cost from rising energy cost. Fed-Ex's 6 month charts showing a nice bounce off the 200 EMA.

I was thinking about that, but decided to give it the weekend, so I may get back in tomorrow for Monday's action.
By next week, I suspect there will be a backlog of liquidity for a pop. But WHO knows???
Could just as well happen this afternoon!

If we maintain these levels, then I may get a LOWER entry point than my last exit. This meets one of my overall goals. Another goal is to start each month off invested. A third goal is to be invested less than half the time. A close below Wilshire 4500's 682.88 will mean I've met all three of these goals for the month.

Done so so, so far this year, but I have done well in the patience department. You'll are doing great, and I seem to be the one on an opposite cycle from the norm.

Well I did meet those goals for this month, I don't plan on being invested much past the first week of March. UDN appears poised for another higher high, the I-Fubnd appears to be putting in a banner year thus far...
