JTH's Account Talk

That -3% today in the I is gonna make somebody alot of money. When I'm out, (which is not very often) I look for those golden opportunities to pounce on. That fund is wicked tho, you better get outta Dodge after a scalping.

Too much risk this season, I wouldn't chase that with an ugly stick...

Me neither! Oh and congrats Jason to making it to the #2 spot!! :D

My happiness cup overflows for you my friend ! Nice Job !

Thank you my dear friend, you've taught me something too, something you can't buy with money. I've learned to slow down and spend more time relaxing with family and it's helped me greatly to appreciate and not take for granted the things I'm blessed with. Those subtle lessons have trickled into my attitude about trading and have made me a better investor. I kid you not!

Jason,

Congratulations on taking over the # 2 position on the Auto Tracker. I know it is not easy to obtain this position and it is even harder to hold onto it.

Personally it appears that I am in this for the Long Haul (Trading Wise) now. I know you can relate to what I'm saying. You've Been there and Done it. My stratedgy has been comprimised and comprimised for about the last two to three weeks.

Comcast stopped letting channel 31 CNBC be a Free channel without having the Special F'N Box for $24.95/Month. I HATE Comcast really I do They are alway's changing stuff with the customersssssss

You do know CBNC.Com post nearly all their videos online daily. Not the best solution, but it's free.

Thanks but No Thanks.
I mainly use CNBC for the Read I get on the markets
I have been using them since they started 20 years ago.
I just need to get the Box I need for the Office TV then I'll be set.

I'm just sick of the monthly Bill. I get Internet, TV, and Phone (Landline) through them.
I don't get any of the Pay Channels i.e. HBO, Cinemax, etc...
My Bill is over $200 a month >$200 Monthly
That in my oppionion is SICK...............

I Love getting this crap off my mind. Thanks for the VENT............

I have the same problem, I have the basic package, don't even get any news channels and I pay 120 a month for that and internet. I'm going to get that damm antenna installed on my house, then I can kiss my cable bill good bye forever!

Good morning forum.

Looks to be a pause day, a bit tempting to make an entry. While we have estbalished a higher high, we haven't esablished a higher low, so I'll sit this one out.

I think the man upstairs had something to do with that, but your post certainly touched my heart and I am proud to have helped you in any way that I could. You are, and shall always be my friend ! :)

I'm biting on the 18 ema pullback. But you're right, smart to be cautious especially considering the S&P weekly broke out to the downside of the rising wedge and then tested the channel and, as of now, appears to be kissing the channel goodbye... & the fundamental fact that the Fed is no longer a buyer.

The Fed is still a buyer - through reinvesting their purchases over the next year will likely be at least $300 billion. That's half the size of QE2 - even if QE3 never takes place,

Don't mount the antenna. How you going to get by without the Hallmark movie channel.:D

Isn't the Fed just buying treasuries... unlike QE where the broker dealers would then buy equities? thx for the response. I need the cliffnotes, haven't had much time to digest econ news lately. But yeah, I understand with rates, global SPR release, etc, there are still many stimuli still in play.

Looking at the charts, they don't look so bad, I'm almost neutral on them. Looking at my systems they were right on the money calling the top, but they lead me to believe we have more downside to go through before it's time to buy. There is a notable difference in the price action between the small caps and the transports, I like them to be more aligned than what they show. As of right now I'm not inspired enough to IFT at these levels under these circumstances.

Looks like me may get a nice pop in the morning, I'm more concerned with where the close will be.

Agreed. The close yesterday really took the S fund to low for the day. I sure wouldn't want to see a pullback between 1311-1290. I'm not sitting in G. Thanks for charts.

9 Jun:
I did eventually get stopped out of SIRUS at 2.12 and it's taken a while, but I'm finally back in at 2.01 Almost all my ROTH positions are in the red, but for the most part, I've got this setup as my buy & hold dividend paying account, with just a few positions (Like SIRUS) I dart in and out of. I'm not sweating these postions, in fact my only probelm is I need to raise more cash so I can buy more.

From 2.01 I'm back out of SIRI at 2.27

I've got several 0% credit card checks for 12 months or better that I can sell you.

Ok I admit it's not my best trade this year, but 11.45% isn't so bad either. I have 4 positions still in the red, but 2 pay out a dividend this month and another next month. This will at least serve to lower my total basis, I'm patient I'll sell for a profit or wait till it goes to zero. I'm 2/3rds cash right now, waiting for the right buying opportunity, we aren't there yet but time is on my side, we'll get there eventually.
