Jkenjohnson's Account Talk

Re: Signal

I look at J-Trader's blog almost daily. His backdated returns for the new adjustments to his system are astronomical. Definitely a great weapon to add to your arsenal.

Bmneveu, just added the site to my favorites. What I liked most was the thought of no TSP IFTs limits. Every federal employee could have an option window to proactively invest their retirement thru the TSP, if they so wanted - 4pm deadlines, instead of 12noon; 6-7+ roundtrips a month; 3x ETFs, after -4.75% drop; 3x proshorts on a 4% pop - - a 1000% would be my yearly goal!

Ya it's crazy. The only downside is having to stomach months like last august, where his system logged (-29.44%). Ouch! But hey, if you can discipline yourself to stick to it through months like that, the profit potential is incredible.

As you know backtesting does not guarantee similar future returns - just a warning. However, he seems to do very well.

Re: Signal

Although I agree with some of what the author states, this "money manager" has performed significantly worse than the S&P500. I wouldn't give him my money to manage, would you? And I'll bet he makes millions. Hurummmph.

I wasn't advocating that he was right. It is interesting to see how bad his money management is!

Perma Bulls are already in...it's the swingers getting ready for those lily padders finally realizing they need to pry open their rusty wallets. :D
