here's your copper star for a trade well called. How come you didn't play the timeline and trick the FRIB into an IFT?

Thanks!! :D

Yeah, would be nice to be able to IFT so that you can be in on the 1st of every month if you wanted to. We basically getting screwed there too. YOu should be able to IFT on the last day of the month and have it count as the next month..........................my opinion of course...........just makes sense to me............

Just a heads up, I'll most likely get a sell signal for equities tomorrow. If I do, I'll probably jump into the F fund if it is down...........we shall see.............

You still holding that Faz? Hope not..............

No, that was a couple trades ago.

I think that this morning the market is finishing 5 waves up and this top will just be wave A of an ABC wave 2 correction, finishing next week around 1100 at the upper channel line that connects the April and August highs. I've pretty much decided I'm getting in since wave C of this rally should offer a 2% gain with some luck, and a 2%/month hit and run move is my goal in this bear market.... but the question is, will today or tomorrow offer the better entry point? With a LOT of luck the S&P could come down in a wave B today and bottom near 1065 near the close, but that could happen tomorrow instead. I hate that 4 hour IFT deadline. As a comparison, in my daughter's Vanguard Education IRA I'm up over 15% this year since I can make smarter decisions in the last 10 minutes of the day. If I had a choice of one more IFT per month, or getting rid of that 4 hour deadline, I think I'd choose the latter.

Got a sell signal. Moving to 100% F fund...............

From TSP: 12-Month Personal Rate of Return: 36.61%

C fund 12-month return: 4.93%

:)

No, I don't sell unless I get I sell signal. I do keep some reserve money in cash in case I have a big down day, one or way or the other, and then I typically use that to buy more shares. We all know how the market sometimes fluctuates on a day to day basis.............

I think I'll be switching to mutual funds at the beginning of the year instead of ETF's so that i don't have to worry about buying or selling during the day. I just get the NAV, or closing price, of the fund each day. Good enough for me...........I'm currently managing 12 accounts so it gets a little dicey at times during the day trying to buy and sell..........

Thanks Dano, but I don't mess with that day trading stuff. Like to keep my sanity...............or what I have left. :p

That would be nice crws, but I'd need 12 assistants to go with it....... ;)

i jump on the boat with you Intrepid trader, hopefully u can provide us on insight for a while, just open an account and start trading with FAS and FAZ. FAZ looks real good right now, it's gonna take a day or two for the money to get thru though.

Re: "Crater lake" ......Isn't there a log called the "old man of the lake" that has been floating around that lake for hundreds of years? I remember a story on it on like PBS or something. They say that the sap has "waterproofed" this tree trunk and it just floats upright in the lake, at 5am it might be on the west side of the lake and at 2pm the same day it might be on the east side. I have never forgotten that story because I'm 30yrs old and I imagine by the time I am on my death bed "the old man" will still be floatin around........AMAZING!
