Intrepid_Timer's PUBLIC Account Talk

Awe, gotcha. I have had some bad experiences in the past from some supposedly quoting me with edited "quotes". I'm not Al Pacino, but I do have a "little friend". :)

Gee who's your little friend? Is it a mouse in your pocket as per " a guy walks into a bar:banana:" or something else. My little friend , as I refer to it as, is a Walther PPKS. He only accompanies me into the urban badlands though which I usually manage to steer clear of. :D.

I don't have one of those friends, but I'm looking for one that I can put in my pocket and do daily activities with. And I will pet him and I will love him..............

I like the Springfield XDS-9, small, safe, and easily handled by men and women while easily concealed (as permitted) 🏻

RMI,
I carry the Springfield XDS but in a 45. Good CC but not a pocket piece. Inside the waste band not to bad.

My wife has the Ruger LC9. Nice pocket piece.

I'm not an S&W fan but I've shot that one. Have not seen the Taurus yet.

The best Concealed / Off Duty carry is the one with you. The worst is the one you left at home.
Carry, Be Aware, Be safe.

Been looking at the S&W Shield or the Taurus 738 TCP myself.

I like the Shield (I have it's slightly thicker brother, the M&P9c), but it's just a little too big for my "everyday" carry. On the advice of a friend several years ago, I tried a Kahr CM9 and I love it! Smaller than my old PPK .380, but more controllable (even though it's 9mm).

Most importantly, I shoot it well and it's extremely reliable. Several friends have tried mine at the range and ended up buying one to replace their pocket revolvers.

Sticking with my H&K 40

Never liked my .45 too big for my grip. Expensive rounds too.
No kidding. 4 years US Army lugging one of those around every day was plenty enough for me. I swear my right leg must be shorter from hauling that huge hog around. No more, I want light and tiny. Sorry I turned this into a gun thread with my comment. I/T I really thought it was that mouse in your pocket you were referring to:1244:.

Life's a beach, but some times you gotta dig yourself out before you can dive in......................
