I saw this too..... Big Brother is always watching I guess.... This info is good to know.. I used to have grocery store loyalty cards, but moved to Florida and the Publix chain did away with them and just have sales... I'm happy about that.

For us old geezers Publix does have senior discounts on Wednesdays (5%). For our stores it kicks in at age 60.

You got to be careful how you suggest she ask for the discount! My spouse is not quite there and she almost had the young cashier in tears when he suggested that she might qualify for the discount. She was joking but even I couldn't tell and I've known her over forty years!
