ILoveTDs Account Talk

Anyone else see NFLX today.

Man if I was holding DISH or CMCSA I would be dumping that right away. NFLX and HULU way of the future.

Don't you remember the technology gains at the top in 2000 - be careful. I'd let the hot money chase and then get burned.

I don't think this is the same thing, but I could be wrong.

Picture radio (TV) has been around awhile now, I'm pretty sure its an American staple at this point. I see more and more people streaming their video everyday to mobile devices. Just about anyone with cable now has a DVR, we watch what we want when we want. Sooner or later we will all learn we don't need the 1000 of junk, just the 5 -10 channels we watch. I see an America were viacom bills me directly for their content and Comcast and DirecTv are sitting in Blockbusters shoes. Were not their yet but Netflix, Hulu, and Youtube are currently that bridge, and only one is publicly traded.

That is until we get the iTV, and everything is streamed over itunes :D

Ah, thinking ahead. The sign of a good investor. Many are expecting this bull market to top out around the October 2007 highs (1567), or higher by the second half of 2013. My bet is we ride this cantankerous bull well into 2014 - we are enjoying a liquidity driven market thanx to the Fed and QE4.

Viva, stop crowding me bro.

You know they shorted me today on the exchange rate. You guy's skim that .15% at the boarder, I expect it back Monday.

Best of luck Viva.

I noticed that the Nikkei had its' best weekly run in 54 years - that should bolster the I fund some if momentum continues.

You got in at a much higher price than me. I am just waiting to make up what I invested plus fees. Just not interested in making stock plays anymore. Just want to stick with consistent performance that I can hold long term.

I think I might buy some more WWE Monday @8.50 a share.

You can't go wrong with a 5.6% dividend yield. They esentially have a monopoly on their industry and once they get out of the movie business profits will be through the roof.

I really don't shop for yield - I actually own some stocks that don't pay a dividend. Most quality companies will pay a dividend and then the growth in payout becomes important. I'm looking for several stock splits this year and already have 23 dividend increase announcements. I'd like to see Goodyear Tire (GT) start up their dividend again - they gotta be making excellent money with car sales exploding. Oil and gas is going to be hot going forward. The key for me is to hold a stock for eternity and eventually growth will aspire - just kidding.

ILoveTD's, i hope to see a lot of TD's by the San Francisco offense today, down with the Ravens

(Steelers fan lol)
