ILoveTDs Account Talk

If a debt ceiling is pasted tomorrow, does everyone buy back in to see our credit rating downgraded Friday and a huge drop in the market?

Moved 100% G fund COB based on seasonality of the S Fund next week. Going with the odds, nothing to do with the technical aspect.

Moved 100% S Fund COB.

I went G Fund COB 8 November and need a 1% decline in the S Fund to buy back in at a lower price then I sold on 8 Nov ($31.8233). Don't think I'll make it.

Moving 100% G Fund effective COB 30 Dec will Move back 100% S Fund COB 31 Dec ... e.g. getting out of the market for the last day of the year.

It's been a good year so this might bite me in the butt if people want to keep their gain on paper and not pay taxes, but I'm going with the seasonality that the last day of the year is usually down.

You should have held your PEIX. Now this is the part where I don't know whether to sell while it's ahead or hold and hope it takes off to the moon some day.

Didn't realize it was up that much since my sell. I sat on it for over two years and was down like 75%, just didn't want to hold it anymore. I think my break even was like $17 something.

Moving to the G Fund based on Option Ex tommorow, holiday weekend, and seasonality. I'll keep an eye open on an entry point next week.

100% G Fund COB

That sounded like a wise move considering the rate that the Bollinger Bands are narrowing their channel around our funds. All this sideways action is just closing them up. If we get another day or two of sideways movement in the S Fund, it's going to punch right through the top of the upper BB without going anywhere.

Were in a bull market and the fed is still pumping money into it, for me overall I'm treating the market as a stock with a stop loss set for it. Don't fight the fed.

On the other hand I'm a market timer so I jumped out and back in real quick to try and get a few more shares on the bull market - this one didn't work but that is the risk of being a market timer, you'll never get them all right.

Moving 100% G Fund COB based on seasonality of the S Fund and the fact we are looking at 8 stright up days in the S Fund. Plan to only be out a few days as I don't want to fight the fed.
