How old is everyone here?

i'm sure if they are older than 27 years they are just a few threads held together by an elastic thread around the waist.

Yep, their Paisley - Tie Dye!!!!
Might have to change my retirement date from Jan 2nd 1010 if they plan on cutting my benefits, we will see? I will leave in a skinny minute if they PMO!!:D Let's change that to 30 days, maybe?
I sorta committed yesterday to my office, that I may stay to the end of 2010 instead of pulling the plug in May..Just to help out with training new Instructors that will be covering my act...Unle$$ I get an out$ide offer I can't refu$e..;)

What are you talking about Norm..aren't you CSRS?

Yes I'm CSRS, but they want to base retirement on my high 5 not high 3, that will cut my retirement check to support some Lazy Ass that can't make his own, I won't let that happen. crooks.gif

Skooby, if you compile this info and get any money for it, remember to share:toung:

I remember when Kennedy was shot.

I turned 57 17 days ago, so I may give NASA a run for the 2nd oldest so far.

Was planning on retiring in 2014 with 17 years. Reality sez 2017 with 20. Maybe.

May 26th.

May 26th.

What are the odds on this message board?

So now we get down to it!

What time of day?

What time zone?

Was it some nurses watch or did someone tune in WWV for the occcasion?

Or we could just say "hey cool" and promise to have a cold one for each other every year:laugh:

Good luck on your planned retirement and hope you get high 3 instead of high 5. That could make a big diff at your percentage.

And just curious (nosey?). Did you even think about converting to FERS?

Regards

Pess

57 yrs 8 mo.... 22 years in the harness....probably 6-8 more years depending on when you guys start giving me some good advice

I propose a better plan. 60% for 30 years @ 55 years of age CSRS. So we can retire with a bit more money like the politicians who we elect then give themselves pay raises then expect us, the lowly federal worker to bite the bullit. Vote the jerks out all of them.

LOL  Thanks Pess
I'm guessing the same date:confused: You, me and John Wayne.

In the beginning CSRS minimum age was 55 with 30 years. They changed the starting percentage from 60%, originally to 56.25% and have been taking away benefits ever sense!! :suspicious: FERS bites it!!
