How old is everyone here?

57 yrs 8 mo.... 22 years in the harness....probably 6-8 more years depending on when you guys start giving me some good advice

Good luck on your planned retirement and hope you get high 3 instead of high 5. That could make a big diff at your percentage.

And just curious (nosey?). Did you even think about converting to FERS?

Yes I'm CSRS, but they want to base retirement on my high 5 not high 3, that will cut my retirement check to support some Lazy Ass that can't make his own, I won't let that happen.:nuts: crooks.gif

I remember sitting on the porch watching Methusela running around in a diaper out in the bean field. Grandpa sitting there cussin' the hounds that were after him and Grandma cussin' Grandpa. :blink:

Seriously....born the year JFK was shot.
 
some of us "youngsters", aka "late bloomers" don't anticipate retiring til 2017-2023, depending on how things go between now and then-:o:rolleyes::blink:
 
I was shooting for Dec 09 however due to current financial circumstances I guess I'll milk the cow a bit longer!
