Guess the Close (Dow)

Anything in particular telling you this, or are you speculating. I figured they would have taken profits yesterday to start the market lower today ahead of the Greek vote. That didn't happen, so I am wondering if the markets will allow a slow increase into the long holiday week-end.

Thoughts?
I'm looking at some technicals that imply we're overbought. But, with Greece on target, it will be interesting to see if the heavy hitters will start scraping some of this for end-of-quarter reports. Remember, accounting runs the world.

With tomorrow the end of the quarter and closing the books on a bad quarter, I think alot of investors will pull a little green for the bottom line. So speculation!

The economy may be slowing but the upcoming earnings season is going to be on target with some surprises. The S&P 500 buybacks were up 63% in the first quarter. That should support the earnings bottom line.

I didn't win. Birch did. He guessed 163 and DOW closed at 168.43 But I'll take today's earnings.
