Passing a Shell station known for gouging from a previous year : 3.12/gal at 1500 Saturday. At 0100 Sunday morning, was at 3.09..

[I should also say they apologized later for their `inadvertant' price hike - Idon't recall how they reimbursed, but they did in some fashion -]

In the Northwest corner of Arkansas - Heart of the Razorback Country - :oo

$2.89 for 93 Octane today in western Massachusetts and I considered it a bargain. It was $3.59 ten days ago and I'm pretty sure it will be there again soon.

Bikes & Blues Weekend here in NWArkansas. ..there must be at least a thousand bikes running up the street behind my place! Some are so big, they look the size of a min-motor home! The yellow ones are most noticible. Show-offs - easy on gas! I believe I could handle one of those little skinny ones w/o the bumpers or fenders! I used to ride a moped !

I miss-counted. The morning newspaper said:

The Parade of Power, a procession of cycles that ran from the mall to Dickson Street on Saturday afternoon, was estimated at 30,000 to 50,000 motorcycles, Ramsey said.

An overall attendance estimate was not available, but organizers assume they reached close to the 300,000 mark they predicted before the festival began.

They came from as far away as Alaska; all states, I guess. What is that jumping rope rhyme:doctor, lawyer, beggerman, thief - rich man, poor man, Indian Chief. They were all here !!

A lot of noise !!, but little gas usage !! What fun!

Exxon Profits

I find it very strange that Exxon doesn't show excessive profits from their gouging antics......maybe a CEO doesn't need 1 Billion dollars in pay, it just shows that the oil companies expenses are not rightfully justified....the real story will be more like out of reality.....

Just what CEO thinks they are worth that much.....someone running a monopoly ......thats who......u don't mean squat to them.....you are just an economic slave to them .....you have to give them your hard earned earnings....its like being jacked up in an ally by the mongrels.....(govt and big business)

shame you can't apply those earnings to your familys future.....
