:) That's right, luv2read.

It doesn't matter what his recommendations are. His personal choices for buying and selling are probably, "I will sell them my reports and they will buy my reports." That's how to make it in any market.

Steady, nice post.

It's true, government is unavoidable for now. The fact that it exists means that humanity is lacking. The basic premise of the U.S. government is that people are selfish, so we have the "balance of powers."

I look forward to the day when government comes from the heart - the kingdom of God is within you.

This is the greatest and most central truth.

Others seem surprised when I share my belief that the Kingdom of God is already here - that we can know it and live in it and acknowledge it in our present life. Often they get an expression that shows "the light turned on" - it's something they were meant to acknowledge and represent.

The message we have is that change and salvation happens on the inside. If that's the message, why are many of the messengers caught up in trying to change other people's outsides?

I have given this a lot of thought - THANK YOU - it is the message I most needed to reflect on. Throughout our lives the anchor that really defines us (gives us our strength - molds our character - and grounds us in our beliefs) and hence helps to guide most of our fundamental decisions and choices is our Spiritual Grounding.

Sometimes I lose sight of that. When I first bought my home was one of those moments and over the years when I saw how things worked out - the lawn, trees, gardens, etc. - I'm in "awe" when the property comes into view, or I walk out in the yard.

Once in awhile "magical relationships" occur that are so wonderful - you're convinced they'll last forever.

But all these "external things" - regardless of how they may appear, and how wonderful they may feel - are temporary and when they fade or disappear "we lose our grounding". Those moments are very hard - because we don't expect a tornado to wipe it all away; for people to disappear - to lose our jobs and be forced to relocate and start over...BUT IN THE END we are forced to acknowledge that our inward grounding needs to be the basis and the center of our subsequent interactions. Once that grounding has been established (or re-established) we have found our rightful place.

Thanks for helping me get back on track.

Hey, that was my quote! :)

Actually, I was quoting Jesus when He said, "The kingdom of God is within you."

It's from Luke 17:20-21:

Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you."

This next video is not about 9/11, even though that is what the people are "talking" about. This is the third video out of three. I just feel like sharing it, since it pretty much confirms what just about all of us know about the media.

All this talk about oil going up because of the storms. It's everywhere. I guess they're trying to convince everyone to fill up now at these prices. Also, people are being told to lock in their oil prices for the winter season.

Why would all of us common nobodies be warned to buy at the current prices? It must be because prices are going to go DOWN. Put fear into everyone, make them all buy now, put on a show by making prices go up a few spikes, then drop the oil prices down below $100/barrel. Now that makes more sense. Herd us into buying high and selling low, just like normal. None of us know how to really buy low, sell high. The herd is awesome at buying high, selling low.

Well I topped off my truck, two 5 gallon cans and called the wife and told her to fill up. I know how my town works and I remember well how the gouged us during Katrina.

I always watch my local gas prices here in town. Prices should have fallen this week, but they held steady. This tells me they are getting ready to raise prices again.
