FAB1 Account Talk

Re: nasa1974's Account Talk

The tea party folks want deeper cuts - I can't blame them. The Senate should take up the first Boehner bill of cut, cap and balance. That would be progress. My eunuch president is going to speak this morning on the debt impass - that'll be a complete waste of air time like his last rant.

Complete waste of O2 too.

Re: nasa1974's Account Talk

Thought I was on the wrong thread for a minute.

So welcome to Fab1's thread A.k.a. the Dumpyard. It doesn't bother me in fact I asked for it!

Re: nasa1974's Account Talk

Why don't liberals want to cut spending? Are they buying votes at our expense. Those days fortunately are over.

Where do I get one of those Pelosi mobiles? Will it run on any fuel beside Petrobras Soros with Plash?

You should have looked at the link but here it goes...

Congressional Motors Announces The First Car for 2012, The Pelosi

It's in the way you dress. The way you boogie down. The way you sign your unemployment check. You're a man who likes to do things your own way. And on those special odd-numbered Saturdays when driving is permitted, you want it in your car. It's that special feeling of a zero-emissions wind at your back and a road ahead meandering with possibilities. The kind of feeling you get behind the wheel of the Pelosi GTxi SS/Rt Sport Edition from Congressional Motors.

All new for 2012, the Pelosi GTxi SS/Rt Sport Edition is the mandatory American car so advanced it took $100 billion and an entire Congress to design it. We started with the same reliable 7-way hybrid ethanol-bio diesel-electric-clean coal-wind-solar-pedal power plant behind the base model Pelosi, but packed it with extra oomph and the sassy styling pizzazz that tells the world that 1974 Detroit is back again -- with a vengeance.

We've subsidized the features you want and taxed away the rest. With its advanced Al Gore-designed V-3 under the hood pumping out 22.5 thumping, carbon-neutral ponies of Detroit muscle, you'll never be late for the Disco or the Day Labor Shelter. Engage the pedal drive or strap on the optional jumbo mizzenmast, and the GTxi SS/Rt Sport Edition easily exceeds 2016 CAFE mileage standards. At an estimated 268 MPG, that's a savings of nearly $1800 per week in fuel cost over the 2011 Pelosi.

Even with increased performance we didn't skimp on safety. With 11-point passenger racing harnesses, 15-way airbags, and mandatory hockey helmet, you'll have the security of knowing that you could survive a 45 MPH collision even if the GTxi SS/Rt were capable of that kind of illegal speed.

But the changes don't stop there. Sporty mag-style hubcaps and an all-new aggressive wedge shape designed by Congressional Motors Chief Stylist Ted Kennedy slices through the wind like an omnibus spending bill. It even features an airtight undercarriage to keep you and a passenger afloat up to 15 minutes -- even in the choppy waters of a Cape Cod inlet.

Available in a rainbow of color choices to match any wardrobe, from Harvest Avocado to French Mustard. Inside, a luxurious all-velour interior designed by Barney Frank features thoughtful appointments like an in-dash condom dispenser. A special high capacity hatchback holds up to 300 aluminum cans, meaning fewer trips to the redemption center. And the standard 3 speaker Fairness ActoPhonic FM low-band sound system means you'll never miss a segment of NPR again.

Best of all, the Pelosi GTxi SS/Rt is made right here in the U.S.A. by fully card-checked unionized workers and Detroit's famous visionary jet-set managers. Even if you don't own one, you can enjoy the patriotic satisfaction that you're supporting the high wages, good benefits, and generous political donations that are once again making the American car industry the envy of the world.

But why not buy one anyway? With an MSRP starting at only $629,999.99, it's affordable too. Don't forget to ask about dealer incentives, rebates, tax credits, and wealth redistribution plans for customers from dozens of qualifying special interest groups. Plus easy-pay financing programs from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

So take the bus to your local CM dealer today and find out why the Pelosi GTxi SS/Rt Sport Edition is the only car endorsed by President Barack Obama. One test drive will convince you that you'd choose it over the import brands. Even if they were still legal.

I'll keep my Buicks. Now what's up with this ISM is that really bad enough to make a nice start off drop like a rock...or is something more sinister afoot?

Re: nasa1974's Account Talk

And you would have thought the debt ceiling passage would have gotten the market up, nope, not yet anyhow. The Top Five got in a wee bit too soon it appears along with quite a few others. As for me today's losses should just about wipe out my gains for 2011.

Anybody else in this same boat? Please come and cry here, for misery loves company!

Although I am still up 5% in my TSP, I have lost all my gains for the last 18 months in my SDIRA... Dang this SUX

As far as I am concerned, this is now a bear market and I am considering getting out of my losing positions and try to make some back on short trades until this bottoms out...

Thanks for sharing. You could be right. Or maybe this is what "they" want us to think. Hate to sell this short, hate hate, hate it!
Gonna play the happy days are here again song, and maybe pray too.

Re: nasa1974's Account Talk

Tomorrow I will probably go all G. I'm 50 G 50 S right now.... But with the 200 EMA being smashed today, I'm ready to throw in the towel. We will see what happens tomorrow, but that's my thought right now....

Re: nasa1974's Account Talk

Lost all gains for the year and now everyone is saying "get out" the worst is yet to come. Well, hell.

I had a simple graph of a big Head and Shoulder and we need to hold here or big down we go. I'm still waiting one more day. I have to see if the ropes are secure because it's almost as far to the top as to the bottom and we are looking at a cliff face. Good luck, I will wait here for you my friend. That be 95 points S&P and I hope it's 95+ for you. I showed this on 7/11 and I am real lucky to be watching from the pond and hope to see a rocket launch for you.

Thanks Bquat. I shouldnt be so whiney about it, keep a stiff upper lip and all that. Money-wise I havent lost all that much, sux all the same - I finished last year with like a couple of tenths under Zero. Easy come Easy Go, Bobby Sherman made it sound so happy go lucky. Bah.

Well our buddy Birch says: There isn't a loss until you sell. Your holding those shares. Can you wait the 10 months for them to make profit. QE3 may come but investors may take it bad as a last resort. We need the Technician and his crystal ball because everyone couldn't figure this one. I'll stick with it's better to miss a gain than to take a loss.

I hope big money buys in to help you, but this is the opportunity for them to buy in before market opening and get the buying going and sell for profit at 1 PM eastern time and buy again after the big drop at 3:30 Eastern time. Keep you eyes open and watch the futures. A big buy in the futures could be a bull trap. We need about a 1.5% gain and hold at a higher resistance level.

Good luck :) Getting near the 100 spot by being a frog on the Lilly Pad.
