FAB1 Account Talk

Im really stoked today - Getting out of S this month buying into C and I is REALLY paying off now.

 C and I are showing out with less loss than the S fund right now
about (.20)

But you say the S fund has sported greater gains nearly every day in Dec??

Oh never mind.

Adherants to the TSP SS have made their moves

But still near to 200 in the G fund. :D

Meanwhile Stock futures are looking UP this opening day of 2011.

Maybe its nice that I stayed IN for a change!

And the markets are off and running for 2011.

Up 1% at the opening - how about 2% or 3% before the close?

11:30 am : Stocks remain near their session highs as the S&P 500 takes a breather just below the 1275 line, which was last touched in September 2008, prior to the collapse of Lehman Brothers.

And the VIX is down now about 2%

Gives ya a warm fuzzy feeeling deep down inside huh?

Looks like the I fund is getting ready to take a rocket ride today.

06:41 am : Nikkei...10398.10...+169.20...+1.70%.
Hang Seng...23668.48...+232.40...+1.00%.
FTSE...6040.87...+140.80...+2.40%.
DAX...7020.20...+3.00...+0.40%.

just 16 users invested 100% in I.

I predict LMBM Method will be at the top of tracker tomorrow.

+1% under my belt on the 1st trading day and Im holding on to it.

2011 is the Year of Positive Gains - My first and foremost Goal going into the new year is to stay in the GREEN.

2011 success requires subduing of the "need for greed" and selling when the selling is profitable not at some "panic point" after Losing 3-4%
(or worse)

Also stricter attention to daily participation in my investments and NOT missing deadlines i.e. 12:00 noon ITFs, etc. (you cant retrieve missed opportunities)

Good Investing to All. have a great 2011

From Tracker position # 137 yesterday
To #8 Today.

Pardon me while I revel in the moment.

:D :D :D :D

It maybe all too brief.

06:46 am : Nikkei...10529.76...+149.00...+1.40%.
Hang Seng...23786.30...+28.50...+0.10%.
FTSE...6086.61...+42.90...+0.70%.
DAX...7016.03...+76.40...+1.10%.

very nice numbers. (except China)

Nikkei is 25% of our I fund I believe.

Waters are choppy this morning.

Dollar rising hasnt helped 2 B sure. Maybe a little more pain B 4 we gain.

Quite relieved this morn to discover the I fund didnt lose over a point, just a minus 0.47 and I wasnt residing on the bottom of the Tracker. :embarrest:

I am wondering if the IT signal came a day too early and the Job Report today is going to boost the market.

Something to file away in my memory banks - that a buy/sell signal could be also linked to an upcoming event (like Friday Jobs Report) so its possible to jump in too soon. So while a leader's moves or other investor's advice may be good, but the matter of timing the execution of the IFT still has to be thoughtfully considered.

No system can time the exact bottom or top, if someone says they can, run, don't walk, to the nearest exit!!!!

Exactly - thats why I kinda kick myself for following the majority on Wed.

It really wasnt expedient to buy that day and it looks like buying yesterday
was the ticket. I just saw people piling on the tracker and followed. I will be
more careful in the future. Not dissing your system, you know what I mean.

2% gain exceeded at 12:45, go bay bay go!

This is the day we I holders have been waiting for.

Sold all I fund except 2% and moved to G fund.

I hate to be completely out of the market :D
