Question: Just when exactly is your system supposed to start making money?

According to the "autotracker", the postings under your name show your system has now lost -1.09% in 15 calendar days. And that puts your system in 89th place out of 95 players on autotracker.

That translates to an annual LOSS of over 25% per year.

Just wondering.

When do you expect to start making a positive return?

your system appears to be stable at this point in time and doing ok..whats the total return since its debut here?appears to have a fairly good gain..please post your results here and maybe you could provide more insight into its inter-workings in the near future...looking forward to more predictions from you in the near future.

ekatteng began posting his system on autotracker on October 1st, and is now showing a net loss of -1.09%.

In his other thread, he said the autotracker does not reflect his system and that this week, it will be parked in I Fund. At least he posted all the moves it has made so far and what it would do all this week. Of course, it would just take someone the extra effort to put all those moves into a tracker of their own to see exactly how the moves play out.

I just put ek's moves into tsptracker, and if my numbers are correct, it looks like he would be up .87% since Oct. 2. The i fund is only up .39% since that date and the S up 0%. He missed two down days, one of them a big one that totaled -1.48%; and picked up the G penny on one of them. He also missed two up days for a total of 1.10%. So not bad, maybe you guys should lay off a little. Just because the English isn't so good doesn't mean he can't have a valid system. Just a thought.

Mary (and Dan if your reading this too - have you met sugar and spice and/or guy girl )

Ek's problem (so far) does not lie with the success of his system (although he is not meeting his 87% "promised" accuracy rating) but it is in his approach. The tracker was created for the very specific purpose of keeping people from doing exactly what Ek has tried to do - that is pop in on the board and claim to have a Holy Grail of investing....especially if there intention is to try to be paid for said "service".

There is nothing wrong with being wrong - as long as your attempt is honest and unbiased and you do not try to decieve folks about your performance. That is how this board functions, off of mutual respect and consensus. The market is patterned chaos and we are trying to make sense of it all. Ek's performance could truely have been achieved by monkeys throwing darts - Desperado...you still out there? what do you think? Only time will tell .

4.83% <--- Ebb @ COB today

0.84% <--- difference = October gains

Am I off base? Is the autotracker off?

Not than interesting, as this is little more than two weeks... and substantially off Ek's claim... and his actual autotracker returns..

Let's try this though...

Flip a coin (heads =G fund, tails = I fund) and follow that for a couple weeks, You will likely be everybody, but is that really how you want to handle your retirement? Now that would be interesting...
