The FV for I - Fund was about $0.10 high and it went up about $0.20 yesterday. We were not able to buy as low as possible even the I - Fund went down. Since the FV is high about $0.30 we will not be able to sell high unless the EFA really rally up big move. "Fair" Valuation (FV) I still doubt, but nothing we can do. It is how the fund managers grease their hands. We will have more and better opportunities.

Hey EK, TPSTALK says that there will be trading on Monday. You gave us Tuesday's IFT call, but not Monday's. Do you have an IFT for Monday?

EK, When I try to download your file TSPtalk.xls it takes for-ever to get the download. Then, when it completes downloading it asks for a password to get into the excel spreadsheet, so you can;t get into it. What gives?? Can't you make it easier to get to, or just post a chart on your thread? It would sure make access to your system more effective for tose of us who are interested..

Sorry it opens slowly... I will post the chart on a thread also... Click read only and it will open without password. It is read only... you need no password... Hope in the future Tom provide us with a link like the other systems except that this one will be free... Tom had been very busy. I usually spell the move on a text above the attachment...

The market will be open but the TSP will be close... so if we must take profit for Tuesday we

will not be able to do the Interfund Transfer Monday.... So even thou is it may be a buying opportunity...

It Predicts Up Trends 30%

Good luck with working your new system, but I must admit your first post in this thread has me a bit confused.

You predict up trends 30%? Does that mean that you miss the up trends 70% of the time?

Ek, Since you changed Tuesday IFT call to Monday, do you have a Tuesday IFT call? I'm confused with Tom's explaination as to when we can post our IFT for effect on Tuesday's market, so I want to either post the same for Monday/Tuesday market or play it safe and go into G for both days.

ek- Ok, I need to know a few things before I put effort into tracking your system.

1. This Neural Network that you speak of - Is this code you've written yourself?

2. I know there are a lot of people looking at the spider-bots on the network that pull data from other areas to make predictions. Are you using the same random generators to weigh the factors of each piece of "perceived" data? I.E. The price of a diamond in Russia is about 1/5th of that in America. Which piece of data wins?

3. How many nodes in the major/minor decision matrices in this 88/12 model? Does your matrix evolve to eliminate the 12% failure or does it accept it and move on?

4. You keep saying “pronostic” which is not a word. Do you mean “prognostic” or pernostic?

5. I am a computer scientist and have seen a few artificial intelligence engines in my time but have rarely seen financial predicitve engines score over 65%. Even then, the error rate caused almost equalization on returns.

Pronostic CLarification

The market will be open on Monday but the TSP will not and no IFT would be feasible. Also the "Fair" Value as a close yesterday was around $0.30 on the high side. Just to be on the safe side I did remain on the G Fund and I will not do any move thru October 10th. Enjoy Nice and Relax Weekend.

Frixxxx, Thank you for writting inquiring about the Neural Network Artificial Intelligence System. It is a commercial software I purchase. It allows to develop you own models. It is not straight forward. I use the data available on the TSP.gov and historical data available to everyone on the website. The model has three layers... the first input layer has two input neurons, the learning layer has three sub-layers eight neurons on the fisrt sub-layer, five on the second sub-layer, two on the third sub- layer which feed the output layer of two sub-layers one of three neuron and one final output sublayer of one neuron. The learning layers are dynamic layers and continue learning to eliminate the 12% error however the big learning has done throu over a million of iterations over the data to identify pattern and use that pattern recognition to do the prediction. I was thinking on a model that will predict not only if the funds will go up or down, but quantify how much up and how much down. Bottomline is just a coin weighted on you favor. y model is simple and basic one... enough to give me the cutting edge to become ahead of the game. I am sure if you google you will find tons of neural network artificial intelligence softwares and companies that applies neural to the market...

crhuss, I was confuse also, the market will open but the TSP will not, so
no IFT will be possible to be made. I will be on the G Fund thru Wednesday, October 10th. My next move will be done on Wednesday for Thursday.

ChemEng, Sorry I was not clear, What I meant was that from 100 days of trading, the system predicts correct 30 days of those 100 days when the fund goes up and predicts correct 28 days of the 100 days of those 100 days when the fund goes down. that will give us 58 days correct prediction more than half of the time. It will stay on the G -Fund 30 days of those 100 days when the fund goes up. It will miss the ride up but not loose money. It will
stay on the I Fund 12 days of those 100 days when the fund goes down. It will miss the ride down and money will be lost. The neural network artificial intelligence learns continuosly and will improve through time but by now is like a heavy weighted coin enough to give me the cutting edge and come ahead of the game, and so far amoung the best FREE systems I ever seem and are in this website.

Ek, Are you going to be in the G fund Monday Tuesday and Wednesday because that is what your system said, or is that just a personal preference because the TSP is closed on Monday and you just wanted to be there.
