Been trying to get my best friend to buy into the system to no avail.

He said he doesn't have time to looking up stuff and making changes on a daily basis.

Sure wish I could break his chain of thought....till then he is riding the S and I 50/50.

Good luck to him
Good luck to us.

And a special prayer to all those that paid the price on 9/11 and to all of our troops keeping the fight and laying it on the line.

I must go out into the field tomorrow morning.

Any chance that Ebb won't follow the tracker going into Thursday?

Thx

He'll probably do O.K. My major strategy in the past was to simply be in the fund that did the best over the preceding 12 months. Usually, you come out ahead of the other funds with this strategy.

Truehonest, I took your advice and e-mailed Causey. A five paragraph letter suggesting that he broaden his survey sample before making such inaccurate statements. And some logical arguments for our side. I will e-mail you a copy if you give me your e-mail address. Maybe someone should list all the important points why we should not have to pay a fee and post them on the TSPTALK web site, so we can all be saying the same kind of things.

crhuss,
I like Ur idea!
Why not start a thread in the bulletin board i.e., "Post reasons against TSP fees". You can start with yours.
I would suggest first giving a short opening statement, a link to what you are referring too, and then itemized reasons.
If you need help, send me a PM. OK?
Regards
Spaf

PS: If TSP charges a fee. They become a internet broker and should have instant trades like every one else. And we should have the option of moving funds to the broker of our choise! It's our money!

Dear Ebb,

By now hope you know how dear you are to all of us! :D Even though I was not 100% I yesterday, I did pretty good at 70% and now I am only $3K short from where I was last July, which I know I will get there very soon. Even will the predictions of Sept being such a slow month, may God bless the ebbcharts and you for being such a good and unselfish human being! Good things will be coming to you and hopefully to us too!!!

;)

What a great I day it was. Thanks Ebb for my first day with a good positive move. Just became $4k closer my first $million. :D I know there will be down days but those will be defensive in nature and just have to take them in stride.

Rock on!

hi ebb -

Don't forget to enter your IFT into the auto tracker for your account. I have been doing the ebbchart's IFT's.

Hey Truehonest, I sent Causey a letter last night and he responded to me this AM. He said that he would use my letter in his column and said that the reason he used those 4 to 1 figures is because that what he received from his e-mails. I told him to get out of his Ivory tower inside the beltway and look around at the rest of us. Guess we had better get going with that e-mail campaign to him. I am trying to work with Spaf to get a thread going. WE may be able to turn the tide on the public opinion here. What do you think?

I know I'm jumping ahead here a couple days, but for Monday's pattern 5 (all red), which is being played in Contrarian mode, would it be better to go S fund because it has the lowest success rate of a save (3/14 or 21.4%) but has saved the most (3.97%), or go I fund because it has saved the least (2.68%) but has a slightly higher success rate of a save (5/15 or 33.3%). Any input?

I'm not very creative but here the EBB song.
( sung to the tune of "Beverly Hillbillies") Let me tell you a little story 'bout a man named ebb, poor g'ment worker barley kept his family fed. Then one day he was playin' with his charts and up from the chart came a system to win..... ebbgold, ebbtea... well the first thing you know ole ebb's a millionaire, tsp folk said, ebb we'll "flow" along. So they loaded up the cash and they followed Ebb, ... EbbnFlow that is... spin charts.... x-checks"

Nice catch, Wasaki! You're absolutely right. I would always be in the S-fund with pattern 5 (all red) unless the I-fund finds a way to catch up. Thanks, good thing it is still early so we can do something about it tonight -- don't want a repeat of last Friday's late move. :suspicious:
