Keep the faith Ebb! Many of us truely appreciate your work and don't expect the system to get it right every day...let's look ahead to Monday. I'm joining you in the I fund!

Having had more than my share from time to time I'm familiar with the phrase.:) I just know how bad it feels when your best plans seem to fall apart and wanted to lend some moral support along with the rest of you.

GL in your trades

Hey Ebb, I'm with ya too. Looking good so far.... EFA up 0.40% as I type.

Quick question (or maybe not so quick)... how the heck does your system work? A brief explanation would be great, unless of course it's classified. :) If so, that's cool with me. The output is the important part. My understanding of how it works is just sheer inquisitiveness. And my apologies if you've already explained it. I haven't had a chance to read through your 80 page history. :)

And finally, how has the S fund performed in your system? Have you ever back-checked to compare S vs. I? (Probably a dumb question.)
Take care and thanks for the new system!

I knew I should have checked my data last night. I checked it again and the middle one (S-fund) turned green. I'm staying with the I-fund. This doesn't happen often, but when it does it usually turns out well. Sorry. :)

Ebb,
You made the below transaction in your account this morning, but this is no change in allocation from your last transaction made Friday. Also, the ebb chart recommends going to the G fund COB today. Is this a mistake?

I 100% at COB (06/13/07) :)

Thanks weatherweenie! EWGuy, I just repeated my IFT so it can have the latest date (06/13/07). I'm staying with the I-fund. I should have checked on the ebbtracker last night before I sent the update to Tom last night. Lesson learned. :)

Going with the flow....ebbnflow that is:D! Ebb as always enjoy your input now if the I fund can be as hot as it is here (CA) we will be okay:D

Ebb,
Just wanted to say thanks for all the work you've already done. Sure glad someone has the interest, expertise, and time to educate (or guide) those of us out here who are just struggling to learn.
I've been following the chart for about 60 days so far (to greater or lesser extent) - and now that I'm down to my BVDs & socks (having lost shirt prior)....maybe we can finally catch a break :)

Thanks guys for the show of support! Moving to the F-fund for now where it's always a crapshoot when you can't see the bottom of the pond. Good luck all! :)

I just uploaded the tally for all the patterns on the ebbchart. Qibovin wanted to see how each pattern has performed so far. It's quite an eye opener for me. Going to stocks, these can't be beat: patterns #1 (+3.72%), #2 (+5.06%) and #4 (+4.51%) gives you over +13% gain, right there.

It also shows that the ebbchart is not too shabby picking exit points as well. Patterns #3 (-3.41%) and #6 (-1.55%) makes it clear that the ebbchart can also save you from losses. :) There's nothing like searching for patterns inside patterns. :D

I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but it's interesting to note that the underperforming patterns (#5, #7 and #8) have only received minimal losses.(link to the chart is below)

Ebb,
On the Ebb trading system page you added that the "Tallies from the C and S-fund are also included for those who don't like playing the I-fund." As I see it, this is a good way to compare the relative gains or losses in a short term period. In the three days you posted, the C and S funds outperformed the I fund. However, on Tuesday June 12, the I fund avoided the greater losses for the C and S funds.

What lesson is there to be learned? Perhaps that your system will have ups and downs (as all systems do), but that staying with the system will be the most profitable avenue for the longer term.
