Today looked better than I thought it would. I just did an IFT to the S-fund, but it may be my last move in stocks for the week. Preliminary output from the ebbtracker for the rest of the week is trending down. :)

For what it's worth:

............WED..THU..FRI
C-fund....

S-fund.....

I-fund.....

a) Two or more stop signs = safe haven (G-fund).
b) Two or more dollar signs = stocks (I or S-fund).
c) I-fund gets priority over S-fund, but S-fund is the choice if Dow Jones Industrial is red before noon cutoff.

Sponsor, I'll be updating the chart with the greens and reds tonight. This market is quickly running out of steam. I hope it can hold up for one more day.

For the sake of those who decided to stay in, I hope so too. Other than that, let's just get the correction (big or small) over with. I hate sitting on the outside.

ebb,

no consideration of F-fund?

Fabijo, I see you're overriding your monkeys to ride out the much anticipated correction. Your monkeys must be crawling out of their skin. :D

I integrated the F-fund's prices into the ebbtracker and did an IFT to the F-fund (planning to use it the rest of the week). It's an option thing 'cause we really can't go wrong with the G-fund. Good luck and good trading to all! :)

ebbnflow.....Now I am wondering if I should go from the G to the F for Thursday and Friday. I do like this tracker though.

Thanks for showing it for the week. Decisions, Decisions. lol

Wolverine, I'm getting to like it more and more, too! I used to track only the I-fund, but with the added cross-checking function I get from the C and S-fund, it's gotten even better. The cross-checking function came into play on three occasions so far:

JAN 24 (WED) : No play on the I-fund, but with two greens (C and S), I was able to play the S-fund (+.95%).
JAN 25 (THU) : I-fund shows green, but with two stop signs (C and S), I get to sidestep a huge loss (-.98%).
FEB 6 (today) : No play on the I-fund, but with two greens (C and S), I was able to play the S-fund (+.36%).

Altogether, that's a whopping +2.29% turnaround! :)

:) ATCJeff,

I think ebbnflow has a good system, and I am testing it. His track record looks great, so I think he has something great going on. Of course, if you see something that perhaps he has missed, tell him so, and give him a chance to consider other views. That would be very positive for all! Good luck.

I'm there with ya!

How do we read the signals? Does "STOP" mean bail through and interfund transfer by noon the day before?

My guess is the red/green signals are being generated by TSPGo.com. TSPGo updated, I believe, almost everynight - so, one can use them to based their IFT the following day.

ebb created his own system and is not using someone else's. This thread goes way back and has some information that may help you to figure out a little of how the system works. He used to only go for the I and F fund - only recently tried adding C and S. Just go back a few pages and you'll see what the red and green symbols mean.
